Objective: To explore the early recurrence rate and its related factors of the patients with first cerebral infarction, and analyze the role of each related factor in the early recurrence of the cerebral infarction,so as to provide more clinical evidence for the secondary prevention of cerebral infarction. Methods: We prospectively registered patients with first cerebral infarction who were continuously admitted to the Neurology Ward of Yongnian Branch of Handan Central Hospital form October 01,2018 to September 30,2019.The following information was recorded timely: the patients' general condition, case characteristics, basic diseases, family history of stroke, laboratory tests, electrocardiogram and imaging examination,Glasgow Coma Scale,National Institutes Of Health Stroke Scale,as well as treatment and outcome immediately after discharge.Follow-up visits were made by telephone at 30 days,60 days and 90 days, and recorded the recurrence, death and regular medication of patients in 30 days,60 days and 90 days respectively.Research factors included age, sex, smoking, drinking, time to see a doctor,National Institutes Of Health Stroke Scale,White Blood Cell count,Platelet count,Low Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol,Uric Acid,Prothrombin Time,Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time,Blood Glucose,Hypertension,Coronary Heart Disease,Diabetes, history of Transient Ischemic Attack, family history of stroke, regular medication.Univariate analysis was performed on 19 related factors to find the factors with statistical significance to recurrence, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to find the independent factors for recurrence. Results: A total of 300 patients were included in the study, including 163(54.3%)males and 137(45.7%)females,with an average age of(62.17±10.95)years.During a follow-up period of 90 days, there were 38 patients in the recurrence group, including 20 males and 18 females, with an average age of(62.71±10.24)years,and other 262 patients in the non-recurrence group, including 143 males and 119 females, with an average age of(62.10±11.06)years.The recurrence rates of cerebral infarction at 30,60 and 90 days were 5%,8.67% and 12.67%,respectively.White Blood Cell count(OR=1.195,95%CI:1.017?1.406),Uric Acid(OR=1.004,95%CI:1.000?1.008),Transient Ischemic Attack(OR=2.628,95%CI:1.249?5.530),family history of stroke(OR=2.805,95%CI:1.295?6.075)are independent risk factors for early recurrence of cerebral infarction. Conclusions: The early recurrence rate of patients with cerebral infarction is 12.67%.White Blood Cell count,Uric Acid,Transient Ischemic Attack, family history of stroke are independent risk factors for early recurrence of cerebral infarction.
