An Investigation On Depression And Its Influencing Factors Among College Students In Nanchang

Depression is often shown as a long-term depressed state,and accompanied by reduced memory,thinking is not concentrated,loneliness,discouragement,low self-esteem and physical discomfort,psychological circles as a "psychological cold",shows its high,wide and can treat the recurrence characteristics,but this "psychological cold" does not mean nothing,never mind.On the contrary,after a lot of scientific research confirmed that depressed patients are more likely to arouse extreme behavior,there is a large proportion of people in the depression have committed suicide,about 50% to 80% of the cases of suicide patients with depression[1].According to a latest survey by the Shenyang mental health center,the number of people with depression is 24% of the total number of students in China,and in the famous university,the number of students suffering from depression is higher,the total number of 35% [2].Investigation in our country in the current college students have different degrees of depression,in recent years,college students with depression caused Dutch act events is often seen,the study about depression is extremely necessary and urgent.However,at this stage,our research on the depression of college students is far from enough.Based on this,the author through the literature material method and the questionnaire survey method to the Nanchang university student depression condition and the influence factor carries on the research.Through the investigation,found in the sample of 556 college students by randomly selected in colleges and universities in Nanchang,with depression has 207 students,the incidence rate was 37.23%,among them,mild to moderate depression has 130 students,the incidence rate was 23.38%,moderate to severe depression has59 students,the incidence rate was 10.61%,severe depression have 18 students,the incidence rate was 3.24%.Through regression analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,single factor variance analysis,cross analysis and logistic regression analysis of two elements,found that different gender,different professions,whether only child,living habits and cognitive level of the future has no significant effect on the occurrence of depression,grade,family location,academic performance,interpersonal relationship,social interaction and the economic situation has a significant impact on risk of depression.According to the research conclusion from the angles of society,universities,families and students themselves put forward feasible suggestions,aimed at reducing probability of college students' depression in Nanchang,it provides somereference for the research on College Students' depression in China.
