Objective:The research aims to describe research status of leadership style and organizational silence and work engagement of nurses and to discuss the impact of social demographic data on leadership style and organizational silence.Analyze relevance between leadership style and organizational silence and work engagement of nurses in the operation room.Improve management efficiency of the head nurse in the operation room.Improve the status of organizational silence and work engagement of nurses in the operation room.Promote the harmonious development of operation room,and provide reference for better service quality of nursing team.Methods:By the method of Multi-stage random cluster sampling,operation room nurses of 3 3-A general hospitals in Changchun were selected as the subjects of the study to complete the questionnaire.The questionnaire was composed of social demographic data questionnaire,multiple leadership behavior scale,nurse organizational silence questionnaire and job engagement scale.Epidata3.1 was used for double data input.Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS)22.0 for Windows was used for data analysis.The analysis methods included descriptive statistics,one-way ANOVA,t test and Pearson correlation analysis.Results:1.The mean score of leadership style of head nurses was 2.65±0.60,and the mean score of transformational leadership behavior was 2.56±0.56,the mean score of transactional leadership behavior was 2.81±0.73.2.Single factor analysis of variance and t test results showed that the leadership style of the head nurses in operation room was statistically significant in gender,age,working years,professional title,etc.(P<0.05).3.The mean score of nurse organizational silence was 2.60±0.75.The mean score of tacit silence was 2.72±0.86,the mean score of defensive silence 2.56±0.88,the mean score of prosocial silence was 2.75 ± 0.84,the mean score of disregard silence was 2.29±0.94.4.Single factor analysis of variance and t test results showed that there was a significant difference in age,professional titles and employment status in operation room in organizational silence(P<0.05).5.The mean score of nurses' work engagement was 2.53±0.59.The mean score of the activity was 2.32±0.65,the mean score of the dedication was 2.67±0.72,and the mean score of absorption was2.65±0.66.6.There was a negative correlation between the leadership style of operation room head nurses and organizational silence(P<0.01).7.There was a positive correlation between the leadership style of operation room head nurses and nurses' job involvement(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.The leadership style of the head nurses in operation room was in the middle level,and the gender,age,working years and professional title were the influencing factors of the leadership style of the head nurses in the operation room.2.The organizational silence of nurses in operation room was in the middle level,and the age,professional title and employment status were the influencing factors of organizational silence.3.The work engagement of nurses in operation room was in the middle level.4.There were correlations between the leadership style of operation room head nurses and the nurses' organizational silence and nurses' job involvement.There was a negative correlation between the leadership style of operation room head nurses and the nurses' organizational silence and a positive correlation between the leadership style of operation room head nurses and nurses' job involvement.
