Objective Based on The JD-R Model and Dynamic Theory,this study explore the relationship among inclusive leadership,calling,work engagement and innovative behavior of the nursing managers in Anhui Province,aiming to explore the effect of nursing management innovation behavior mechanism and provide basis for the innovation behavior intervention of nursing managers.Methods The method of convenience sampling is adopted,totally 477 nurse managers from 17 prefectural-level cities in Anhui Province were investigated with the Calling Scale(CQ-12),Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9(UWES-9),Inclusive Leadership Questionnaire(ILQ),Nurse Innovation Behavior Scale(NIBS).Data were inputted with Epidata3.1 and using SPSS 21.0 to do the univariate analysis,correlation and the mediation analysis.Results(1)The score of sense of calling,inclusive leadership,work engagement and innovation behavior were 45.20 ± 7.64,36.0 ± 5.1,34.87 ± 9.66,33.51 ± 5.31 respectively.(2)The average score of innovation behavior was 3.35±0.53;Univariate analysis Showed differences in innovation behavior in terms of nursing managers' incomes,level of hospital,professional title,have a fund or not,etc.(P<0.05).(3)Correlation analysis showed that calling is positively correlated with work engagement and innovation behavior(r=0.615,r=0.322,P<0.05),inclusive leadership is positively correlated with work engagement and innovation behavior of the nursing managers'(r=0.364,r=0.283,P<0.05),work engagement are positively related with innovation behavior(r=0.432,P < 0.05).(4)Work engagement had a complete mediating effect on the relationship of nursing managers' calling and innovation behavior.(5)Work engagement had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the inclusive leadership and innovation behavior.Conclusion In this study,the nursing managers' innovation behavior is at a medium level and has yet to be further improved.Calling,work engagement has a positive influence on innovation behavior,work engagement had a complete mediating effect on the relationship of nursing managers' calling and innovation behavior.Nursing managers' inclusive leadership,work engagement has a positive influence on innovation behavior.Nursing managers' work engagement as partial mediation variables,positively predict their innovation behavior.In promoting the nursing managers' innovation behavior,administrators should pay more attention to promote their work engagement,adopt a more inclusive and open attitude towards nursing managers and improve their sense of calling,thus improving their innovation behavior.
