Purpose:Under the guidance of basic theory of Chinese Medicine, this research analyzes the correlation of anxiety and depression with nyctalopia and collateral stasis sudden visual loss, and summarizes relationship between emotion and the characteristics of the disease,so as to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:SAS and SDS scale were used to investigate 61 cases of nyctalopia and 104 cases of patients with collateral stasis sudden visual loss.Observe the relation between anxiety and depression scores and general status of the two groups, which including sex, age, vision, course of disease,Chinese Medical Syndrome types etc. Finally, compare the differences of the above index. Results:The nyctalopia patients a total of 61 cases, including 17cases with anxiety and 24 cases with depression,of which 13 cases with both anxiety and depression,33 cases with no anxiety and depression. The collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients a total of 104 cases, including 46 patients with anxiety and 23 cases with depression,of which including 18 cases with both anxiety and depression,53 cases with no anxiety and depression.Incidence of anxiety and depression between two groups has a significant difference,P<0.05 but SAS,SDS standard scores are no difference,P>0.05.Two groups show no significant difference between sex,P>0.05.Anxiety and depression symptoms and the incidence rate of depression of nyctalopia patients between different sexes are different,P<0.05,no difference in incidence of anxiety,P>0.05.There is no significant difference between collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’ sex and anxiety and depression symptoms and the incidence rate,P>0.05.The age of nyctalopia patients are younger than collateral stasis sudden visual loss’,P<0.05.There is no significant relation between Age and SAS,SDS standard scores of nyctalopia and collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients,r<0.5 and P>0.05.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the education level,P>0.05.Nyctalopia patients’ course of disease is longer than collateral stasis sudden visual loss’,P<0.05.Nyctalopia patients’ course of disease with SAS and SDS scores and duration are positively correlated relationship,P<0.05,collateral stasis sudden visual loss’s has no relationship.Nyctalopia patients’ better and poorer eye’s vision both worse than collateral stasis sudden visual loss’s one,P<0.05.Respectively correlation analyzing nyctalopia patients’ SAS,SDS standard scores with the better and poorer eye’s vision, there is no obvious correlation,r<0.5,P>0.05.There is no obvious correlation of collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’SAS,SDS standard scores with with the better eye’s vision,r<0.5,P>0.5,but SAS standard scores negatively related with poorer eye’s vision,P<0.05.There is no obvious correlation of collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’ SDS standard scores with poorer eye’s vision,P>0.05.SAS standard scores have difference in nyctalopia patients between different TCM syndrome types,P<0.05,but SDS standard scores have no difference. Both SAS,SDS standard scores have difference in collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients between different TCM syndrome types,P<0.05.Both SAS,SDS standard scores have difference between Ischemic and general collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients,P<0.05.Both diseases’SAS,SDS scores were positively correlated,r>0.5,P<0.05.Conclusion:Nyctalopia’s incidence of anxiety and collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’ incidence of depression are higher.Female nyctalopia patients’ anxiety and depression symptoms seem more serious and more likely to have depression. The age of collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients are elder than nyctalopia patients’.There is no significant relation between Age and the severity of anxiety and depression. There was no significant difference between the nyctalopia and collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients in the education level.Nyctalopia patients’ severity of anxiety and depression’s symptoms are positively correlated to course of disease.Nyctalopia patients’ vision is worse than collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’.Collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients’ severity of anxiety symptoms are positively correlated to the poor eye vision.Nyctalopia patients with Liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome, whose anxiety symptoms seem more serious.Collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, whose anxiety and depression symptoms seem more serious.Ischemic patients are more likely to have anxiety and depression and depression symptoms seem more serious than general collateral stasis sudden visual loss patients. Both diseases’severity of depression symptoms were positively correlated. There is an interplay between emotion and vision impairment lead by fundus oculi disease.
