Object:Through the analysis of birth defects monitoring data from 2007 to 2016,understand the present situation of birth defects, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and strategy, provide a scientific evidence for government to make relevant measures for control birth defects,so as to prevent and reduce the incidence of birth defects and improve the quality of birth population. Methods:A total of 525967 cases of birth were obtained from the monitoring data of maternal and child health care hospital from 2007 to 2016.All the data(include live birth, stillbirth, perinatal infants who were 28 weeks plan full perinatal or 7 days postpartum perinatal)were collected from secondary or tertiary hospitals.EXCEL 2007 was used to establish a database, and descriptive statistical analysis method was used to describe the total incidence of birth defects from 2007 to 2016,and incidence of birth defects in urban and rural, incidence of birth defects in boy and girl, the cases and constituent ratios of different birth defect types,as well as birthplace and gender distribution characteristics.SPSS 17.0 software was used to perform the data analysis, and chi square test was performed to compare the incidence between the groups, and P<0.05 was considered as statistical significant. Results:A total of 525967 perinatal infants were monitored from 2007 to 2016 in which 4705 cases were birth defects. The incidence rate of birth defects was 89.45/ 10,000.The total incidence rate of birth defects in urban and rural were 98.70/ 10,000 and 72.84/ 10,000 respectively, and the incidence rate of birth defects in urban was higher than that in rural, and the difference was statistical significant(?2=92.413,P=0.000).The total incidence rate of birth defects of female and male were 99.83/ 10,000 and 78.02/ 10,000 respectively, the difference was statistically significant(?2 = 69.160,P=0.000).The perinatal infants whose mother aged 30~35 have the highest incidence of birth defects. The top 5 of the incidence rates of birth defects from 2007 to 2016 was as followed: congenital heart disease, polydactyly, external ear malformation and other hypospadias. The incidence of congenital heart disease increased year by year, and the incidence of NTD showed a decreasing trend.Conclusion:1.The incidence rate of perinatal birth defect significantly increased from in 2007 and 2016.The main reason is that Maternal and child health hospital carried out neonatal bedside ultrasound in simple PFO / PDA detection rate increased.2.The incidence rate of birth defects in urban areas was higher than that in rural areas.3.The detection rate of birth defects of male was significantly higher than that of female.4.The defection rate of maternal aged 30 to 35 years old was higher than other age groups.5.The incidence rate of congenital heart disease is the highest, and we should strengthen the attention and research of congenital heart disease.6.The rate of birth defects was increased by prenatal diagnosis before and after 28 weeks of pregnancy.
