Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians in treating sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation.By finding the difference of curative effect between electroacupuncture on Jiaji points and kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians,to provide a more effective clinic treatment method for sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation.Method:In this study,66 patients with sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group(n?33).The control group was treated with local acupuncture. The treatment group was treated with the distal points on the affected meridians,BL2,BL10,GBI and GB20,besides the treatment in the control group, with the combination of the movement on the waist.Manipulate the needles every 10 minutes,7 days for a course, treating for 3 weeks.VAS leg pain visual analogue scale,health-related quality of life score(SF-36),frequency and discomfort index(SFBI)were used as the index, and the results were recorded and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Result:1 the total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.93%,while in the control group, the total effective rate was 72.73%.After statistical analysis of Ridit,U=2.127,P=0.033,the difference was statistically significant(Ridit)(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2 VAS:the comparison between the two groups before treatment was P?0.646>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, indicating that the VAS score of the patients in the two groups before treatment was at the same the baseline. Two groups after treatment compared with before treatment,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that after treatment, the two groups of methods have significant effect on the disease. After treatment, the treatment group compared with the control group,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that in improving VAS effect, compare the treatment group, the control group was more obvious.3 SF-36:the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment, the scores of the two groups were compared,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, indicating that the SF-36 score of the patients in the two groups before the treatment on the same baseline. After treatment, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the two groups after treatment have treatment effect. After treatment, the treatment group compared with the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the trea.tment group was more significant than the control group in the improvement of SF-36 effect.4 SFBI:the scores of the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were compared,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant, indicating that the SFBI score of the patients in the two groups before the treatment on the same baseline. After treatment, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the two groups after treatment both have treatment effect. After treatment, the treatment group compared with the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant, indicating that the treatment group was more significant than the control group in the improvement of SFBI effect.Conclusion:1 It is effective to treat sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation with kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians, this method can effectively relieve the pain.2 The method of kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians have more significant effect on leg pain visual analogue scale in improving the sciatica caused by lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.3 The method of kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians is more effective in improving the health-related quality of life(QOL)of sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation.4 The method of kinetic acupuncture on distal points of the affected meridians have more significant effect in improving the frequency and discomfort index of sciatica caused by lumbar disc herniation.
