ObjectiveExplore the solution that has a best and practicable curative effect to treat the secondary neurodokon-sciatica of LDH. Therefore, this paper shall discuss the combining therapy of fire-acupuncture and body acupuncture by taking the Chinese Acupuncture that has the advantages of being simple, safe, effective and less side effect as the direction, among which taking the fire-acupuncture that has the effect of expelling the cold and dampness as well as warminsg meridians as the object. This paper shall also compare the curative effect to the pain of sciatica in clinical research, which is expected to further improve the pertinence of the TCM therapy for sciatica, and provide useful references for clinical treatment of the disease.MethodsThere are 90 patients who are diagnosed as the patients with the secondary neurodokon-sciatica of LDH volunteering to participate in this study. Using the Randomized Controlled Method, divide the patients into three groups of the treatment group (use the combining therapy of fire-acupuncture and conventional acupuncture) made up by 30 ones, comparison group I (use the simple therapy of fire-acupuncture) made up by 30 ones, and the comparison group II (use the simple therapy of conventional acupuncture) made up by 30 ones. Observe the improvement of the patients before and after treatment in the same treatment quantity.Results1. The VAS of the treatment group has a significant difference (P< 0.01) before and after the treatment; The Oswestry disability index(ODI) has a more significant difference (P< 0.01); The JOA has a significant difference (P<0.01).2. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group II respectively, the VAS of the treatment group has a significant difference (P < 0.01) after the treatment.3. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ respectively, the total effective rate of VAS of the treatment group has a significant difference (P<0.01) after the treatment.4. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ respectively, the Oswestry disability index(ODI) of the treatment group has a significant difference (P<0.01) after the treatment.5. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ respectively, the JOA of the treatment group has a significant difference (P <0.01) after the treatment.6. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ respectively, the total effective rate of JOA of the treatment group has a significant difference (P< 0.01) after the treatment.7. Comparing with the comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ respectively, the curative effect curing the cold-dampness type and kidney-deficiency type of the treatment group has a significant difference (P<0.01), which indicates that the curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the two comparison groups. There is no any significant difference(P>0.05) between comparison group I and comparison group Ⅱ, which indicates that the curative effect of them is equivalent. For the comparison on the curative effect of the damp-heat type and blood-stasis obstructing in the interior, there is no any significant difference(P>0.05) between the three groups, which indicates that the curative effect of them is equivalent.ConclusionTreating the secondary neurodokon-sciatica of LDH by the combining therapy of fire-acupuncture at Jiaji points and the conventional acupuncture can significantly improve the pain degree of the neurodokon-sciatica, the impact on the daily life and lumbar function, etc., which all have no any adverse reactions after treatment with the better clinical effect.
