Objective and Significance:The study examined the correlation between Runx3 protein and P21 protein by detecting the expression of Runx3 and P21 proteins in different types of raised erosive gastritis and gastric carcinoma,to explored the relationship between the different sub-type raised erosive gastritis and possible the existence of molecular mechanisms of cancer.Method:Collected tissue samples which meet the research requirements in the gastroscope center of Fujian Provincial People's Hospital from February 2016 to December 2016,included 30 cases of chronic superficial gastritis,30 cases of immature type raised erosive gastritis,30 cases of mature type raised erosive gastritis,30 cases of gastric cancer.Used the HE staining,analysis the pathological manifestations of different type of raised erosive gastritis by the microscope.The immunohistochemistry SP detection system was used to detect the expression of Runx3 and P21 protein.Results:1.There was no significant difference between immature type raised erosive gastritis and mature type raised erosive gastritis in the rate of atrophy(30.0%,43.3%)(P>0.05).The rate of intestinal metaplasia of mature type raised erosive gastritis(36.7%)were higher than immature type raised erosive gastritis(13.3%)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between immature type raised erosive gastritis and mature type raised erosive gastritis in the rate of dysplasia(3.3%,13.3%)(P>0.05).2.The positive rates of Runx3 protein expression in chronic superficial gastritis,immature type raised erosive gastritis,mature type raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer were 80.0%,73.3%,43.3%,36.7%.The positive rate of Runx3 protein expression in mature type raised erosive gastritis was lower than chronic superficial gastritis and immature type raised erosive gastritis(P<0.05),however there was no significant difference between mature type raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer(P>0.05).The positive rate of Runx3 protein expression in chronic superficial gastritis and immature type raised erosive gastritis was higher than gastric cancer(P<0.05),however there was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis and immature type raised erosive gastritis(P>0.05).3.The positive rates of P21 protein expression in chronic superricial gasirais,immature type raised erosive gastritis,mature type raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer were 70.0%,60.0%,36.7%,33.3%.The positive rate of P21 protein expression in mature type raised erosive gastritis was lower than chronic superficial gastritis(P<0.05),however there was no significant difference between mature type raised erosive gastritis,gastric cancer and immature type raised erosive gastritis(P>0.05).The positive rate of P21 protein expression in chronic superficial gastritis was higher than mature type raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer(P<0.05),however there was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis and immature type raised erosive gastritis(P>0.05).4.There was a negatively correlation between the expression of Runx3 and intestinal metaplasia in mature type raised erosive gastritis(r=-0.386,P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between the expression of Runx3 and intestinal metaplasia in immature type raised erosive gastritis group(r=-0.207,P>0.05).5.There was no significant correlation between the expression of Runx3 and P21 protein in chronic superficial gastritis and immature type raised erosive gastritis group(r= 0.218,P>0.05;r= 0.277,P>0.05).There was a positive correlation between the expression of Runx3 and P21 protein in mature type raised erosive gastritis(r= 0.591,P<0.05),and the similar result was found in gastric cancer group(r= 0.636,P<0.05).Conclusions:The expression of Runx3 and P21 protein in gastric cancer tissue was significantly decreased,suggesting that Runx3 and P21 protein may be involved in the process of gastric carcinogenesis.The expression of Runx3 and P21 protein in mature raised erosive gastritis tissue was significantly decreased,suggesting that mature Type of raised erosive gastritis has the potential to cancer,the need for early clinical intervention.
