Objective and Significance:We study the pathological manifestations of raised erosive gastritis and compare the expression of Cycloxygenase-2(COX-2) protein and Ki-67 in chronic superficial gastritis, flat erosive gastritis, raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer,to discuss the relationship between raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer and its possible molecular mechanism of carcinogenesis.Method:Collect tissue samples which meet the research requirements in the gastroscope center or pathology departments of Fujian Provincial People’s Hospital from February 2015 to February 2016,include 30 cases of chronic superficial gastritis,30 cases of flat erosive gastritis,30 cases of raised erosive gastritis,30 cases of gastric cancer. Use the HE staining, analysis the pathological manifestations of chronic superficial gastritis and different type of varioliforill gastritis by the microscope. The immunohistochemistry 2-step detection system was used to detect the expression of COX-2 and Ki-67.Result:1.There was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis, flat erosive gastritis and raised erosive gastritis in the rate of atrophy(20%,36.7%,40%)(P>0.05).The rate of intestinal metaplasia of raised erosive gastritis(43.33%) were higher than chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis(10%,16.67%)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis, flat erosive gastritis and raised erosive gastritis in the rate of dysplasia (3.3%,0%,10.0%)(P>0.05).2.The positive rates of COX-2 expression in chronic superficial gastritis, flat erosive gastritis, raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer were 30%,33.33%,60%,66.67%.The positive rate of COX-2 expression in raised erosive gastritis was higher than chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer (P>0.05).The positive rate of COX-2 expression in chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis was lower than gastric cancer(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis (P>0.05).3.The positive rates of Ki-67 expression in chronic superficial gastritis, flat erosive gastritis, raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer were 43.33%,40%,70%,80%. The positive rate of Ki-67 expression in raised erosive gastritis was higher than chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between raised erosive gastritis and gastric cancer (P>0.05). The positive rate of Ki-67 expression in chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis was lower than gastric cancer(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between chronic superficial gastritis and flat erosive gastritis (P>0.05).4.There was a positive correlation between the expression of COX-2 and Ki-67 in gastric cancer (r=0.530,P<0.05),and the similar result was found in raised erosive gastritis group (r =0.505,P<0.05).Conclusion:Raised erosive gastritis have the potential of cancerization, and the upregulation of COX-2 and Ki-67 expression may be involved in the process of the occurrence, evolution and cancerization of raised erosive gastritis.
