Study On Coronary Heart Disease Combined With Anxiety, Depression Status And Its Relation With TCM Syndrome Types

Objective:To analyze the influence factors of coronary heart disease (CHD) with emotional disorder, observe the distribution of CHD with anxiety and depression symptoms in the TCM syndrome types. Thus help clinicians to identify the high-risk influence factors of patients with CHD combined with anxiety and depression symptoms and search for the distribution of its combined emotional disorder in the TCM syndrome types.Methods:Total 260 cases of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease were collected from the outpatient and inpatient departments of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital during August,2014 and December 2015. Collected general information(including age, gender, educational level, smoking history and so on), males or females, ages from 45 to 85. Treated by associated chief physicians and above level physicians with four diagnostic methods, (inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and pulse-taking and palpation) with the patients symptoms to discuss the syndrome differentiation and analyze the distribution of different TCM syndrome types in the patients with CHD. Then evaluated and counted by self-evaluation of the anxiety scale (SAS) and self-depression rating scale (SDS) to analyze the incidence and the related factors of CHD combined with anxiety and/or depression symptoms. Applied spss19.0 statistical software to do statistical analysis (with clinical significance if P<0.05).Results:6 cases dropped out in 260 cases, so 254 cases were collected, and 186 cases met the criteria. Among these patients,62 patients were combined with both anxiety and depression symptoms with a percentage of 33.33%,66 patients were combined with only anxiety symptoms with a percentage of 35.48% and 58 patients were combined with only depression symptoms with a percentage of 31.18%.Gender, educational level, smoking, hypertension, diabetes may increase the risk of CHD patients combined with anxiety symptoms. Elderly, women and high level of education patients were more likely to have depression symptom. Patients with CHD combined with diabetes had a tendency to get depression symptom. Qi and blood stasis syndrome, Phlegm obstruction heart pulse syndrome, Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome were the primary TCM syndrome typs of CHD patients with anxiety and depression symptoms.Conclusion:CHD with anxiety and depression symptoms mainly distributed in Qi and blood stasis syndrome Phlegm obstruction heart pulse syndrome, Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome patients, asthenia-secondary sthenia syndrome were primary in Sichuan Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Age, gender, educational level, smoking, hypertension and diabetes are high-risk influence factors of coronary heart disease CHD with combined emotional disorders.
