| ObjectiveThrough investigating the current situation of psychological capital among caregivers in the nursing home of Kaifeng in Henan Province analyze the influencing factors of psychological capital among caregivers in the nursing home.The purpose of this study is to proince the caregivers' professional recognition and quality of nursing services in the nursing home.Methods312 caregivers were chosen from 20 nursing homes in Kaifeng Henan Province by convenience sampling and were questioned during December 2014 to June 2015.Survey content included self-developed demographic data,psychological capital,organizational support and social support.300 valid questionnaires were collected.The database was established through EpiData 3.1 and the statistical analysis was processed by SPSS17.0.Descriptive statistical methods such as mean,standard deviation,the number of cases,percentage were used to describe the data.Correlation analysis was practiced by t-test,ANOVA Person correlation.Then multivariate linear regression analyses using the forward selection procedure were performed to analyze the influential factors.Statistical inspection level of alpha=0.05,P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results1.The score of psychological capital among caregivers in the nursing home of Kaifeng Henan Province was 64.67±27.17.The scorel of psychological capital was low.The score of optimism was 8.96±4.23 and was the lowest.The score of self-efficacy was 19.69±9.02 and was the highest.2.The single factor analysis showed that the significant differences of psychological capital among caregivers were age,culture level,economic status,career change,job satisfaction,average working hours(P<0.05).3.The relationship between psychological capital and organizational support(r=0.310,P<0.001),social support(r=0.93 8,P<0.001)was positive correlation(P<0.05)among caregivers in the nursing home of Kaifeng in Henan Province.4.Multiple linear regression analysis results showed that social support,organizational support,cultural degree,working hours,job satisfaction were the main factors influencing the caregiverpsychological capital.Conclusion1.The level of psychological capital among caregivers in the nursing home of Kaifeng in Henan Province was lower.The major influencing factors of psychological capital were age,culture level,economic status,job satisfaction,career change,average working hours.2.The relationship between psychological capital and organizational support,social support was positive correlation. |
