The Influence Of Qi Luo Decoction On The Quality Of Life Of Patients With Spleen Deficiency And Damp Heat Type Colo-rectal Cancer After Operation And Chemotherapy

Objective:To evaluate the effect of safety and the improvement of Qi Luo decoction on the quality of life and ect of patients of colorectal cancer after surgery and chemotherapy.Method:In this study,64 cases of spleen deficiency and damp heat type colorectal cancer surgery patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group 32 cases, so as control group. The experimental group was given oral Qi Luo decoction, and the control group injected thymopentin. After 3 months, compared two groups of patients quality of life (KPS score), weight, syndrome scores, lymphocyte subsets, tumor markers(CEA and CA199) and score as indexes for evaluation of curative effects and adverse reactions were recorded, and compared with results of routine blood, heart, liver and kidney function as a safety evaluation indexes, finally statistical analysis of differences in the two groups of Patients.Result:(1) The study included 64 cases, and 62 cases completed, with the dropout rate of 3.1%. (2)Quality of life:the quality of life of the end of treatment, the experimental group increased in 16 cases,15 cases were stable,0 cases reduced, in control group, the quality of life increased in 7 cases,19 cases of stable, reduce 5 cases, rank sum test (P<0.05), the difference is statistically significant;(3)Weight change:after the end of treatment, the experimental group weight increased in 11 cases, stable in 17 cases, reduced in 3 cases, control group, body weight increased in 5 cases, 18 cases of stable, reduce 8 cases, rank sum test (P<0.05), the difference is statistically significant;(4) Comparison of syndrome:After treatment, syndrome score of treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).For each syndrome, treatment group lassitude, shortness of breath, dry mouth, body weight, poor appetite, loose stool or knot syndrome was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05);(5) Tumor markers comparison:There were no significant changes in serum CEA and CA199 levels before and after treatment in the two groups(P>0.05);(6) Tumor markers:experimental group and control group before and after treatment of CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ and NK cells immune indices were significantly increased, CD8+was reduced(P< 0.05). There was no significant difference in the changes of the two groups after treatmeant(P>0.05);(7) Safety assessment:one case happened mild nausea in treatment group, symptoms relief without any measures. Any group hurt the routine blood, heart, liver and kidney function.Conclusion:Qi Luo decoction can improve the syndrome and quality of life of colorectal cancer after surgery and chemotherapy spleen deficiency and dampness heat syndrome in Patients with significant advantages. The Patient's weight loss also has Protective effect. In the improvement of immune cells, Qi Luo decoction and thymopentin dose the same work and safe.
