Clinical Research On The Effect Of Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction On Defecation Habits Change In Post-Operational Colorectal Cancer Patients During Chemotherapy

Object:Taking "Defecation habits change of spleen qi deficiency syndrome quantification table" as a frame of reference,to evaluate the efficacy of Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction in post-operational colorectal cancer patients during the chemotherapy.Observing,monitoring,recording and retrospectively analyzing cellular immune function,Karnofsky score,the numerical value of tumor markers,state of tumor recurrence or metastasis,chemotherapy poisonous side reaction at the same time.Thus to provide the clinical evidence and new opportunity to promote Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction and develop new anti-tumor medicine.Methods:Developing the research of randomized controlled clinical trial for collected patients(60 cases)with the post-operational colorectal cancer.Dividing these patients into test group and control group by using random number table(30 cases in each group)to receicve the treatment of Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction combing chemotherapy with FOLFOX4 scheme(test group)and chemotherapy with FOLFOX4 scheme only(control group).Taking 14 days as the one treatment cycle.Observing continuously for 4 treatment cycles.Taking "Defecation habits change of spleen qi deficiency syndrome quantification table" as the main ecaluation criterion for using Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction,and observing the index change in measuring the clinical efficiency and safety.Results:The group which patinets received Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction combing chemotherapy displays highly statistical significant difference(P<0.01)in frequency of defecation,frequent sense of defecation and anus straining by comparing with pretherapy.Displaying statistical significant difference(P<0.05)in fecal traits,defecation time,defecation disorder by comparing with pretherapy.Displaying statistical difference(P<0.05)in frequent sense of defecation and anus straining,fecal traits,defecation disorder,weakness,nausea and vomiting by comparing with the group which patinets received chemotherapy only.The results of the study also show statistical difference and advantage in improving cellular immune function and physical strength,abting the numerical value of tumor markers and side effects caused by chemotherapy poisonous(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction has a positive effect in ameliorating clinical symptoms of the post-operational colorectal cancer patients with defecation habits change during chemotherapy,improving cellular immune function and physical strength,reducing the numerical value of tumor marker to some degree with less side effect.All these results prove that the Yi Qi Sheng Jiang Decoction worth being applied in clinical application.
