ObjectiveThrough Piweikang decoction treatment of infantile diarrhea of spleen deficiency,in contrast to the changes observed before and after treatment,symptom score table,the required time for recovering the normal stool features,the recurrence rate index after a week,discussing the role of Piweikang decoction in the treatment of children with spleen deficiency.MethodSelect 68 children suffering from infantile diarrhea of spleen deficiency from the Guangdong second traditional Chinese medicine Hospital' s outpatient department of pediatrics and medical examination center,using the method of simple random,parallel control,according to the ratio of 1:1 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,on the basis of routine treatment,the treatment group oral piweikang square,the course was 8 days;the control group oral to Montmorillonite powder until the stool formation,oral Bifidobacterium triple viable capsule,the course was 8 days.Observe the two groups of patients' symptoms and signs after treatment,the required time for recovering the normal stool features,the recurrence rate index after a week.To evaluate the therapeutic effects of the two groups.ResultThe average time of recovering the normal stool features of the treatment group was better than the time of the control group(P<0.01).There were no significant differences betweenthe the control group and the treatment group about frequency or character of defecation on the fourth day and the eighth day(P>0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group was the same as that of the control group in reducing the number of feces and improving the fecal character.there was differences when the treatment group and the control group were compared with themselves about frequency or character of defecation on the fourth day and the eighth day(P<0.01).All two kinds of treatment effect can effectively reduce the number of children feces,improve fecal traits.There was differences between the the control group and the treatment group about symptom scores of complexion,appetite,vigour or abdominal distension on the fourth day and the eighth day(P<0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in Improve the above-mentioned symptoms.There was differences when the treatment group and the control group were compared with themselves about frequency or character of defecation on the fourth day and the eighth day(P<0.05).All two kinds of treatment effect can effectively in Improve the above-mentioned symptoms.There was differences betweenthe the control group and the treatment group about general symptom scores of children with infantile diarrhea of spleen deficiency(P<0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in Improve the general symptom scores.There was differences when the treatment group and the control group were compared with themselves about general symptom scores on the fourth day and the eighth day(P<0.01).All two kinds of treatment effect can effectively in Improve the general symptom scores.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),and the average rank(28.10)in the treatment group was less than that in the control group(36.64),which showed that the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Comparison the marked improvement rate of the two groups showed that the treatment group was higher than the control group(treatment group 58.06%,control group of,P<0.05)compare with the control group,the recurrence rate on the fifteenth day of the treatment group was significantly lower.ConclusionThe results of this study show that piweikang square in reduced stool frequency and recovery stool effect is no difference with the control group,the stool forming more time than Montmorillonite powder,but in the overall regulation of body,especially to improve the complexion,appetite and disease treatment effect is more significant.Clinical application of spleen and stomach can be more comprehensive treatment of children with spleen deficiency diarrhea,in order to regulate the overall recovery of gastrointestinal function in children.
