The Clinical Therapeutic Effect Of PPH And TST-STARR Plus In The Treatment Of Prolapsed Circumferential Hemorrhoids

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of PPH and TST-STARR + for prolapsed circumferential hemorrhoids.Methods:Twenty patients with hemorrhoids patients treated with TST-STARR~+ were recruited as treatment group,and 20 patients treated with PPH in our hospital were recruited as control group.Comparative observation of two groups of patients,the operation time,bleeding volume,operation time,postoperative complications(postoperative bleeding,anal edema,postoperative pain),first defecation and overall satisfaction.Results:The two groups had similar operation time,proportion of postoperative urethral catheterization,proportion of post-operative bleeding,postoperative pain,anal swelling,and the length of hospital stay(P > 0.05).There are significant differences between the two groups in the weight of tissue removed,(P < 0.05).Conclusions:TST-STARR~+ did not increase operation difficulty and postoperative complications compared with PPH in the treatment of prolapsed circumferential hemorrhoids,but it can significantly increase the weight of tissue removed improve postoperative long-term curative ef-fect,and reduce recurrence rate.It is a minimally invasive surgery with simple operation and favourable curative effect and holds potential for wider clinical application.
