Clinical Observation Of TST Starr + In The Treatment Of Severe Prolapsed Hemorrhoids

Objective:The observation of curative effect and safety evaluation for the TST starr+operation in treatment of severe prolapsed hemorrhoids.Methods:70patients met the inclusion criteria of severe prolapsed hemorrhoids patients are randomly divided into two groups. One is experimental group, the other is control group. Experimental group undergoes TST starr+operation treatment and control group undergoes PPH treatment. Then accurately observed and recorded the two groups of patients with the postoperative complications (such as the indexes of bleeding, anal pain, edema, urinary retention, defecation and anal function) and the presence of prolapse and its degree. At last, evaluate the safety and effect of treatment.Results:After operation treatment, the clinical symptoms of patients in experimental group disappeared. But there were12prolapse symptoms in control group after six months from the operation. So there was a significant difference between the two groups. It’s obvious that the TST starr+group is better than the PPH operation group. And there were also significant differences about the average operation time, postoperative anastomotic bleeding in surgery, weight and volume with the control group (PPH operation)(P<0.05). At the same time, postoperative complications did not increase compared with PPH operation group. Conclusion:The TST starr+operation is a new operation method for treatment of severe prolapsed hemorrhoids. Its curative effect is exact, the operation is reliable and safe. This operation has not only the advantage of PPH of circular resection, but also the large volume and the characteristics of visual cartridge. It also has the advantages of complete resection of rectal resection, large quantity, complete resection, low residual rate. It can effectively prevent the recurrence of hemorrhoids. In addition to the advantages mentioned above, for severe prolapsed hemorrhoids treatment, it has the advantages of simple operation, easy to master, short operation time and so on.
