The Study Of Social Casework That Rational Emotive Therapy Intervenes In People With Depression Tendency

In recent years, depression has attracted wide attention at home and abroad, World Health Organization estimated that depression will become the second largest burden of disease by 2020. However, depression tendency is easily overlooked what it is between normal depressive mood and achieving clinical diagnostic criteria for depression, especially it's less explored in the field of social work. Based on this, this article focuses attention on depression tendency, through a case analysis of depression tendency, to explore rational emotive therapy mode of social casework intervening in people with depression tendency that it will achieve what effect,and what reference for the intervention of people with depression tendency.The study used semi structured interview and participant observation to collect and analyze the data, that is, through observation, interviews and SCL-90 Self-reporting Inventory, self-rating depression scale for problem diagnosis and needs assessment, it found that client has serious cognitive biases because of excessive self-esteem, resulting in behavioral and emotional problems. Based on the above, the long-term and short-term goals of the service and the specific service plan are established. The service of social casework relies on rational emotive therapy built on ABC theory, it launched around the known- emotion-behavior line system consisted of cognitive regulation, behavioral training and emotional expression. And it combined with the client's advantages and interactive social circle to be supplemented by informal social support means in the concrete expansion, to form the incorporation what it is from within the body to external social system. Specifically, it regulated cognizance by assessing the problem, understanding the theory and changing cognitive of Analysis Exercise A-B-C-D-E, and combining with the construction of academic support platform, to change client's irrational beliefs. It helped client's behavior by Analog debate and Emotional self-management behavior training and Daily support. It revised client's express emotions reasonably by Emotional scene simulation training and the interactive support of the air space dialogue.Assessed through the process and results of the whole case service, to draws the following conclusion: That social casework intervenes in depression tendency is necessary and that rational emotive therapy mode of social casework on the improvement of depression tendency is effective in the short term. Also the involvement of the whole service need formal rational emotive therapy and informal social support means to combine. Based on the feasibility and effectiveness of this practice, it provided a social work field exploratory applications for the intervention of people with depression tendency.
