Objective:1. To observe serum omentin-1 levels and microalbuminuria among prehypertensive patients with overweight;2. assess the relationship between serum omentin-1 levels and microalbuminria.Methods:A total 208 subjects with normal blood pressure and prehypertension were recruited from the physical examination center of Shanxi medical university second affiliated clinical hospital,from April 2015 to Jun 2015. They were divided to three groups :the normal group(n=66),the prehypertension group(n=70), and the prehypertension with overweight(n=72) according to blood pressure and body mass index(BMI).Using a standardized questionnaire,including name,gender,age and other basic information.All subjects' s height,weight,blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-c),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c), plasma uric acid,creatinine and urea nitrogen were measured and calculated body mass index(BMI).Serum omentin-1 was measured and by ELLSA method and microalbuminuria by immunoturbidimetry.Results:Serum omentin-1 levels were significantly lower in the prehypertension group andwith overweight group than the normal control group(P<0.05),in the prehypertension with overweight group was further lower.Of three groups examined,microalbuminuria was highest in the prehypertension with overweight,it was higher in the prehypertension than in the normal control group.Pearson correlation analyses showed that serum omention-1 was negatively related with BMI,systolic blood pressure(SBP), diastolic blood pressure(DBP),FBG,TC, MAU,while positively related with HDL-c in the total prehypertension.MAU was positively related with age,BMI,SBP,fasting plasma glucose?LDL-c,while negatively associated with omentin-1.The multivariable logistic regression analysis demonstrated MAU was independently associated with fasting plasma glucose and SBP in the normal control group.in the total prehypertensiorn group,MAU was independently related with BMI?SBP and fasting plasma glucose.In total group BMI and SBP were associated with MAU.Conclusion:Serum omentin-1 levels was decreased in the prehypersion group and with overweight, further reduced in the prehypersion with overweight.The result reflected that omentin-1 may be involved in the procession of hyperpension.Microalbuminuria existed in patients with prehypertension,and more obviously in patients with overweight.showing that the kindney was damaged in the prehypersion patients,when menrging overweight further aggravated,the for forward for hypertension management provides theoretical basis in futher.
