Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chemotherapy-induced Constipation By Method Of Runchang Stagnation

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Runchang stagnation method by monitoring the changes of symptoms in patients with chemotherapy-induced constipation.Methods: 62 cases who met the inclusion of criteria of tumor patients were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 31 cases in each. Two groups were given the same basic treatment.The control group was treated with mosapride citrate, the observation group was given oral decoction of Chinese medicine.One week after administration,were evaluated before and after treatment of constipation and related symptoms associated with the major symptom score, and the first defecation time.SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis software were used to compares the two groups to improve the situation of constipation and efficacy.Results:Total scores of the main symptoms of constipation and associated symptom decreased than their respective pre-treatment by t test,both P <0.05,statistically significant difference; between the two groups,P<0.05 observation group was better than the control group.On improving the degree of difficulty of defecation,stool,defecation frequency the observation group was better than the control group,P <0.05. While on defecation,poor stool, abdominal distension symptom score improvement both quite effective, no statistically significant difference,P> 0.05. On improving patient appetite,mental status,nausea and vomiting aspects,the observation group was better than the control group by t test,all P <0.05.On the curative effect of main constipation symptoms,the total efficiency of the observation group was 93.5%,with 77.6% of the control group.Comparison between the two groups P <0.05,traditional Chinese medicine group wsa better than the mosapride group.Associated symptoms in efficacy,the total efficiency was 87.1% in the observation group,54.8% of the control group,the efficacy comparison between the two groups P <0.05,explain improvement of symptoms associated with both groups had significant statistical difference, the traditional Chinese medicine was betterthan mosapride group.On the first bowel movement after treatment,observation group was 2.359±0.59 days with the control group 2.77±0.73 days,for the two groups,P<0.05,statistically significant,time observation group than the control group.Conclusions:Runchang stagnation method in the treatment of chemotherapy-induced constipation curative effect can be significantly improved after chemotherapy and constipation in patients with recent clinical symptoms. To improve patients with symptoms have a significant effect.Can see that traditional Chinese medicine treatment has the advantage of help improve after chemotherapy in the patient's quality of life.
