The Research Of The Construction Of Harmonious Nurse Patient Relationship

In the period of social transformation in contemporary China, itis the key period for establishing and perfecting the socialist market economic system. On the above specific background, due to the imperfect medical service system, weak healthcare management, and laggard health laws or regulations, the nurse-patient relationship is now tend to tension, whichseverelyaffect social harmony and stability.The nurse is one of important performer in medical service for patients, butthe contradiction between nurses and patients is intensifying, and both nurse and patients are suffering from trust crisis. The thesis focus on analyzing the current situation and influence factor of the nurse-patient relationship, giving the advice how to improve therelationship between nurses and patients, and promote the formation of harmonious relationshipbetween nurses and patients.The current research on the nurse-patient relationship mainly involved in exploring the reason from medical institutions or from the nurse individual, which were some limitations. In this paper, the relationship between nurses and patients was thoroughly discussed,concerning in the content, such as health policy laws and regulations, health management system, and medical security system. Based onthe investigation result in the paper, some advice was given to promote establishing harmoniousnurse-patient relationship, such as improvement of medical services system, strengthening health and medical legal system building, improving the medical risk guarantee system, effectively protecting the legal rights and interests of both nurses and patients,expanding the traditional virtueof respecting nurses,creating harmonious social atmosphere and positively guiding the public opinion. Also to promote nursing association, some other measures can be taken that using the media todisseminate nurses' dedication spirit,urging the hospitalto build the harmonious atmosphere of patient-centered, application of incentive mechanism to promote nursing humanized management, paying more attention to continue education of nurses, improving the nurses' job satisfaction, inspiring nurses nursing service potential, andsupervising nurses to improve nursing skills and artistic level, increasingpatient satisfaction. In conclusion, the paper is useful foreffectively relieving the contradiction between nurses and patients, rebuilding a harmonious relationship between nurses and patients, and promoting social harmony and stability.
