BackgroundWith the rapid development of society and the transformation of medical model, nurses are facing increasing pressure. When individual resources cannot meet the high requirements of work, job burnout will occur. The research shows that the job burnout of nurses is not optimistic, and nurses are suffering from the virus of job burnout.Job burnout not only harms the physical and mental health of nurses, reduces work efficiency, increases nursing errors, but also affects the whole quality of nursing service.Psychological capital is an individual's positive resource, which has a positive impact on improving organizational performance and job satisfaction.Work and family are two important areas for individuals. When an individual invests too much energy in one area,it is bound to cause work-family conflict. The research shows that psychological capital and work-family conflict are important factors affecting job burnout. Therefore, this study hopes to explore the mechanism of psychological capital and work-family conflict on job burnout among psychiatric nurses and the relationship among them.ObjectivesTo understand the current situation of job burnout, psychological capital and workfamily conflict of psychiatric nurses in the third level psychiatric hospital of Henan Province, and to explore the relationship among them.To analyze the related factors affecting job burnout in order to provide theoretical basis for making intervention measures to alleviate job burnout.MethodsIn this study,722 psychiatric nurses in the third level psychiatric hospital of Henan Province were investigated with self-assessment questionnaires by cluster sampling. The questionnaires included general information questionnaire,Maslach Burnout Inventory,Psychological Capital Questionnaire and Work-Family Conflict Scale.Spss21.0 software was used for descriptive analysis,t test,one-way ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis and intermediary effect test Results1.The incidence of job burnout was 68.42%.The score of emotional exhaustion dimension, depersonalization dimension and personal achievement dimension was(18.61 ± 11.27),(5.22 ± 5.76)and(29.13 ± 11.60),which belongs to mild burnout, mild burnout and heavy burnout, respectively. In terms of personal accomplishment,61.08% nurses had severe burnout.2.The total score of psychological capital was(101.55 ± 15.38),the total score of workfamily conflict was(57.12 ± 11.00),the score of work interference family dimension was(29.54 ± 5.80),and the score of family interference work dimension was(27.58 ± 5.74).3.Psychological capital and its dimensions were negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion and depersonalization(P<0.01),and positively correlated with personal achievement(P<0.01).Work-family conflict and its dimensions were positively correlated with emotional exhaustion and depersonalization(P<0.01),and negatively correlated with personal achievement(P<0.01).Psychological capital and work-family conflict were negatively related(P<0.01).4.Psychological capital played a partial mediating role between work-family conflict and each dimension of job burnout.5.Stepwise regression analysis pointed out that gender, age, psychological capital and work-family conflict were all involved in the regression equation of emotional exhaustion.Age,psychological capital and work-family conflict were all involved in the regression equation of depersonalization.Professional title, psychological capital and work-family conflict were all involved in the regression equation of personal achievement.Conclusion1.The job burnout of psychiatric nurses needs to be improved, especially the dimension of personal achievement.Gender, age, professional title, psychological capital and workfamily conflict are the main factors affecting job burnout.2.The psychological capital of psychiatric nurses is in the middle level, and the workfamily conflict is high.Improving the psychological capital and reducing the work-family conflict can effectively alleviate the job burnout.3.Work-family conflict can directly affect job burnout, and it can also indirectly affect job burnout through psychological capital.
