Peasant Workers' Occupational Stress And Anxiety,the Relationship Between Job Satisfaction: The Mediating Role Of Psychological Capital

ObjectivePeasant works had a important contribution to process of China economic growth as a special working group.For a long time,our research mainly focus on the physiological health,social security system and the urbanization process,the other time we research to psychological is less.To study peasant workers' occupational stress,anxiety and job satisfaction,also to analysis influence factors of peasant workers' occupational stress,anxiety,and job satisfaction.Preliminarily discuss to relation among peasant workers' occupational stress,anxiety,job satisfaction and mediating role of psychological capital.MethodsThe study used cluster sampling to know 1,000 peasant works with 899 valid questionnaire from Hefei,Chuzhou,Liuan in Anhui province,which come form construction sites and private factory.We used job satisfaction questionnaire,psychological capital measurement questionnaire,Effort-Reward Imbalance questionnaire and anxiety self-assessment questionnaire to measurement peasant workers generally demographic variables,occupational stress,anxiety,job satisfaction and psychological capital.Using Epidata 3.0 software for data of double entry,taking Spss 17.0 to descriptive statistics analysis,t test,analysis of variance and multiple hierarchical regression analysis.ResultsThe description statistical analysis for occupational stress,anxiety,job satisfaction,psychological capital to migrant workers showed that: the survey of 889 migrant workers in the age of 16 to 53 years old,the average(27.35 ± 7.87)years of age,job satisfaction,the average score was(65.04 ± 10.91)points scored an average of four dimensions: psychological capital self-efficacy(22.1±5.34)points,hope(23.7±4.67)points,toughness(23.5 ±3.61 mm),optimistic(22.6±2.69)points,anxiety score(23.16 ± 7.29).General demographic variable analysis shows that for migrant workers migrant workers of different marital status of the farmers' occupational stress of three dimensions have significant difference(P < 0.05),different education background of peasant workers' occupational stress,job satisfaction and psychological capital efficiency dimension difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),length of service for the return of occupational stress their selfefficacy dimension of dimension and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the monthly income for migrant workers of occupational stress,anxiety,and the influence of job satisfaction difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the psychological capital of self-efficacy,hope,two dimensions affect the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Occupational stress,anxiety and the psychological capital of migrant workers of multiple hierarchical regression shows that: the external effort and negatively related to job satisfaction(P < 0.05),returns,internal investment relationship with job satisfaction positively correlated(P < 0.05),the amount of occupational stress in the interpretation of the job satisfaction was 31.4%,the psychological capital of 22.5% explained the mediation effect of job satisfaction.Psychological capital for reward and have complete intermediary role in the relationship between job satisfaction and,in the investment and the relationship between job satisfaction has partial intermediary effect,on the external effort and job satisfaction has a direct role in the relationship.Regression analysis showed that anxiety in the interpretation of the occupational stress increment of 0.316,the mediating role of psychological capital amount of the interpretation of the occupational stress and anxiety of 0.155 external and internal investment and anxiety were positively correlated(P < 0.05),returns and negatively correlated with anxiety(P < 0.05).Principle of foreign capital in the relationship between pay and anxiety has complete mediation effect,psychological capital has partial mediating effect on the relationship between the return and anxiety,on the relationship between the intrinsic rewards and anxiety has partial intermediary effect.Conclusion1.the detection rate of anxiety in the migrant workers is 13.2%,its level of job satisfaction.2.Peasant workers' occupational stress and anxiety,there is relationship to job satisfaction.3.Psychological capital for reward and job satisfaction have complete mediation effect,investment and job satisfaction within some intermediary role.4.Psychological capital in return for partial mediating effect exist in the relationship with anxiety,including partial intermediary role between returns and anxiety.5.By improving migrant workers working environment and improve their treatment,cultivate the psychological capital and reduce the occupational stress level.
