Survey Of Osteoporosis Risk Factors And Analysis Of TCM Constitution In Crowd Of Nanning,Guangxi Province

Objective : Research of osteoporosis risk factors and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution distribution in Nanning,Guangxi.To provide scientific basis for individual and standardized prevention and treatment of osteoporosis patientsMethods : In this study,we chose 454 cases of residents in Nanning randomly who go to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of TCM for medical examination from October 2013 to January 2015,including 101 cases of male,and 353 cases of female.Clinical questionnaire survey and TCM constitution distribution were did in these people,then using the Ultrasonic to measure the left heel's bone mineral density(BMD).According to the findings of a systematic review of relevant risk factors for osteoporosis,and TCM constitution distribution,establish a database,using SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis database.Discussion the correlation on sex,age,activity level,BMI,alcohol consumption,tea,diabetes,humpback history in parents of osteoporosis.Analysis of osteoporosis and low bone mass(LBM)population's distribution of TCM Constitution Types.result :(1)In the total study population,the overall incidence of osteoporosis was 24.9%;the total incidence rate of LBM was 45.8%;the prevalence rate of osteoporosis in male was 18.8%;the prevalence rate of osteoporosis in female 26.6%;the prevalence rate of LBM in male was 40.6%;the prevalence rate of LBM in female was 47.3%?Gender and the incidence of osteoporosis correlated(P <0.05).After 50 years of age,LBM and osteoporosis prevalence increases.Age factors significantly associated with the incidence of osteoporosis(P <0.01).(2)BMI and the incidence of osteoporosis have no significant correlation(P> 0.05).(3)Physical activity and the incidence of osteoporosis have correlation(P <0.05).(4)Drink,tea and the incidence of osteoporosis have no correlation(P> 0.05).(5)History of diabetes and the incidence of osteoporosis have no correlation(P> 0.05),Parents' hump history and incidence of osteoporosis have a significant correlation(P <0.01).(6)The TCM Constitution with bone mass in normal is mainly due to gentle nature.The TCM Constitution with low bone mass is mainly due to Qi deficiency and yang deficiency.TCM Constitution of osteoporosis is mainly due to Qi deficiency and yang deficiency.There were obvious differences in the distribution of TCM Constitution Types in different bone mass groups(P<0.01).(7)The types of TCM Constitution of osteoporosis in different age groups are mainly due to Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency(P>0.05).(8)The types of TCM Constitution of Low bone mass in different age groups are Yang deficiency,Qi deficiency and gentle nature(P>0.05).conclusion :(1)Gender factors in Nanning District of Guangxi is related to the incidence of osteoporosis and low bone mass.The prevalence rate of female was significantly higher than that of male.(2)After the age of 50 years old,low bone mass and osteoporosis patients in Nanning district of Guangxi increased with age.(3)There was a certain correlation between the amount of exercise and the incidence of osteoporosis in Nanning area of Guangxi.(4)The genetic factors in Nanning district of Guangxi have a significant impact on the incidence of osteoporosis.(5)It has no effect between BMI,drinking wine,drinking tea,diabetes and the incidence of osteoporosis.(6)Physical characteristics of the population in Nanning area of Guangxi:The probability of occurrence of osteoporosis is small in gentle nature,but the biased constitution,especially the occurrence of the low bone mass and the osteoporosis in Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency are high.(7)The types of TCM Constitution of osteoporosis in different ages groups are mainly due to Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency.(8)The types of TCM Constitution of LBM people in different ages groups are Yang deficiency,Qi deficiency and gentle nature.
