Bone drilling is common in orthopedic surgery,such as traumatology and bone biopsy.In the drilling process,the high temperature will lead to bone tissue necrosis and bone oxidation.The high temperature is the result of many factors,including the impact of intense friction between bone tissue and the medical drill,the spindle speed and feed rate etc.In recent years,with the development of computer technology,the application of finite element technology in bone drilling become more and more widespread.In addiction,the research of bionic tribology shows that the reasonable micro-texture on the sliding contact surface have a positive impact on reducing the temperature of contact surface.In this paper,according to the establishment of the finite element simulation process of micro-textured drill drilling cortical bone and the combination between tribology and bone drilling,the prediction model of drilling temperature about spindle speed and feed rate is established which is the exploratory research of drilling parameters when micro-textured drill drilling cortical bone.The main course of the study are as follows:(1)According to the micro-textured friction mechanism analysis,selecting appropriate laser processing parameters,the micro-textured tools have been machined by laser marking machine and have been cleaned and measured.(2)By selecting medical twist and fresh cortical,the bone drilling experiment has been conducted by using CNC and infrared camera and other equipment.The results showed that the designed micro-textured tool can play a cooling effect on the temperature of bone drilling and different parameters of micro-texture have different cooling effect.(3)The finite element analysis of bone drilling has been conducted by ABAQUS and the effect of cortical bone stress and temperature in the micro-textured tool drilling cortical bone has been studied.(4)The effect of drilling parameters(drilling speed and feed rate)on the temperature of micro-textured tool drilling cortical bone has been studied by ABAQUS.The regression equation of temperature about drilling speed and feed rate of micro-textured drilling cortical according to response surface has been established.
