Drilling in the treatment of fracture and bone reconstruction, materials widely used in thetreatment of femoral head necrosis, internal fixation operation, fine drill cranial hypertensioncerebral hemorrhage patients, etc. In the drilling process of cutting tool and bone contactrubbing against each other, a lot of friction will be converted into thermal energy, make thebone temperature is gradually increased, which could lead to bone necrosis phenomenon.Based on drilling force value, drilling, the change of the temperature and the cutting toolgeometry research can provide reference for reducing drilling hot, for clinical bone drillingoperation data reference for the development of its function.In this paper, the finite element software simulation of cortical bone in drilling process ofcutting force and cutting temperature, and using drilling test validated the drilling process ofcortical bone, specific research process is as follows:1The finite element: by understanding the particularity of cortical bone drilling test,needed to establish model parameters and boundary conditions, to set up the reasonable grid,application Abaqus6.11finite element simulation software, simulation process of corticalbone drilling, analyzing and comparing different dosage of drilling (feed rate, rotational speed,bit diameter) of the drilling results and the dosage of drilling force of drilling temperaturesand drilling, the influence of three dosage of drilling and cutting force, cutting temperaturebetween the simulation and prediction model.2The data processing: based on the regression orthogonal test, the distribution ofcortical bone drilling parameters used, set up experimental orthogonal table; The output valueof the analog data import data processing software MATLAB, using the principle of multiplelinear regression fitting of the dosage of drilling and cutting force, cutting temperature, therelationship between the dosage of establishing drilling on drilling forces, drilling temperatureprediction model.3Test: finite element comparable, in order to test the data arrangement used in thefinite element orthogonal table data, part of fresh pig femoral cortical bone for drillingoperation, limited compared to the same conditions and test the change rule of cutting force,cutting temperature, test the correctness of the finite element model and availability, andcortical bone drilling in the drilling process.
