In recent years,energy problems have become the main contradiction of sustainable development due to the rapid reduction and depletion of many non-renewable resources.The nuclear power industry is bound to recover in the context of such a large age.With the development of The Times and the innovation of technology,the generation of nuclear power generation has come.However,after the fukushima nuclear accident in Japan,public opinion began to debate the question—"is nuclear power safe,clean and efficient?" China's nuclear power policy has also been transformed by "moderate development of nuclear power" and"positive development of nuclear power" to "effectively develop nuclear power on the basis of ensuring safety".This is going to start from the source of the project,which is the design.So,what kinds of management challenges the new age nuclear power project bring us?This paper researches the causes of the delay of project C by management factor analysis and brainstorming.This research is based on the progress management theory and relevant knowledge in the project management knowledge system,and also focus on the project management of the nuclear power project which named Project C.After the study,this paper discusses the impact of employee,project schedule management and design management platform on the project schedule.To put forward the problems of personnel,project schedule management and design management platform which in project C schedule management.Propose progress management improvement measures which are feasible and suitable for nuclear power design institute,which conforms to the characteristics of three generations of nuclear power,and then analyze the implementation results.By improving the definition of activities,clarifying the division of labor,and standardize-ing the working hours,we will improve the progress of project C.Improve the control ability of project progress by increasing the active control,standardizing the process of project progress and regulating the change process.The method step of integration platform and expansion platform is put forward to improve the design management platform,improve the information acquisition efficiency of the design and management personnel,so as to improve work efficiency.The results of this paper give S research institute a new model for project schedule management and also give the industry a reference.
