With the transformation of Chinese economic model,the market competition in the construction industry has become increasingly fierce,and domestic construction companies are facing a challenge: how to make enterprises be invincible in the face of low investment,high costs,and rising prices of production factors? Traditional methods of construction project management are relatively backward,and there are deficiencies such as poor data sharing,single-dimensional cost analysis,and insufficient control granularity.Due to the low level of informatization and the lack of refinement,the construction industry loses trillions of yuan each year because of the difficulty in controlling costs.Strengthening the strength of cost control,changing the concept of controlling costs,and establishing a dynamic and comprehensive cost control system to increase the investment profits of enterprises and their ability to respond to competition are urgent problems for the construction industry.As a new information technology,BIM has great potential for application in cost control.This article uses BIM as a technical means and mainly includes the following aspects:(1)First,through literature review,the current status of construction company's cost management and BIM application is studied.Existing problems and improvement requirements are analyzed,and the concept of refined dynamic management is introduced.(2)It then explores the application and value of BIM in fine-tuned dynamic control of construction costs-progress,and then builds the process of dynamic regulation of the construction process based on the advantages of BIM and WBS(Work Breakdown Structure);the process follows three stages to explain in detail how to use the various characteristics of BIM to fine-tune construction management to every time point and every process.The three stages are advance prevention,tracking control,analysis and control.It completes the fine control of the quantity to the process control of the price,optimizes the construction cost management,and achieve high efficiency construction cost control.(3)Finally,through an project case,it elaborates the application method and effect ofthe built process in the quantitative analysis,based on the earned value method and the combination of the above techniques.The process can also predict the project cost-schedule development trend,and provide decision basis for the post-project control and enterprise management.To some extent,it effectively solves the problems of cost overruns and progress delays that are common in current project management,and makes the concept of refinement and dynamic management more practical in engineering projects.
