The construction industry is the largest industry in China at present, and its output value in 2016 has exceeded 19 trillion yuan. However, there are a series of problems in the construction industry, such as low technical level, lagging design concept and so on.High energy consumption and low energy efficiency have become a major obstacle to the sustainable development of the construction industry.According to the development target,by 2020,the proportion of green buildings in new urban buildings will reach 50%.The green building has brought many new technology, new methods, and the evaluation of green building is a complex comprehensive system. The resulting problem is that the cost management level of the green building design and construction is difficult to meet the actual needs. The cost management of green building needs to be improved on the basis of the original construction project cost management, which not only needs qualitative but also quantitative management. Therefore, starting from the existing cost management system of a department, combined with the characteristics of green building, aiming at the drawbacks of the existing management system,it puts forward the idea of improving the cost management system. The cost control is properly advanced to solve the problem of change during the construction and settlement phase. It also analyzes the misery of cost control in advance, which lies in the lack of quantitative analysis of the means of green building. After combining the concept of green building national standard and value engineering, the method of quantitative analysis is put forward to provide the basis for cost prediction and cost control. Finally, taking a new green building project cost management as an example, the improved management system is applied to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the cost control measures.Compared with the original scheme, the cost increment decreased from 6.12% to 1.7%,which proved the value of the research.
