| 2016 is t he beginning year of China’ s Thirteenth Five-year Plan.The ageing-related work of China is walking into deep waters wh ile the ageing of population accelerates.In old town area s where the proportion of t he elderly is high,there evidently lacks elderly care f acility,making its ageing-related work largely lef t behind.On the other hand,g overnment pays serious a ttention to creatingelderly car e facility in old town areas by putting forward a series of concerning documents.One should admit that a good tre nd exists for creating elderly care facility i n old town areas.Their specific conditions of ageing and facility construction lead to a better solution of community-based elderly care facility,which occupies less land,affects the environment less forcefully,and functions more flexibly.However,in comparison with a good number of for mer researches t hat focus mainly on newly-built facilities in new town areas,research on renovated facilities in old town areas ha s just made a start.The dissertation takes that as a poi nt of breakthrough,by a nswering the call of s ocial demands and governm ental policies,i n hope of enriching c oncerning studies and providing trustworthy references in si milar projects henceforth.The research is mainly based on the proj ect practice of Dashilar’ s Service Centre for the Elderly and Handicapped.The a uthor has joined its full process of creation,in which repeated filed r esearches were carried out and analysis constantly summarized.Therefore,quite a few points of di fficulties and their corresponding sol utions are logically shown in the dissertation,providing the following four aspects of contents.1)The basic thought of cre ation of c ommunity-based elderly car e facility i n old town areas,which goes along with the areas’ specific histor ies,and thus conditions of ageing and facility construction.2)The problems faced concerning the arc hitectural design a spect of the project,and the solutions to them,mainly covering land use conditions,function requirements,and technical requirements;3)Those of the technical design aspect,mainly covering structure,firefighting,AC and heaters,and infrastructure.4)Those of the const ruction process aspect,mainly covering site condit ions,construction cooperation,budget control,and neighborhood negotiation.By thoroughly decomposing and analyzing the specific project,the author tries to reflect the general problems one could run into when creating community-basedelderly care facility in old town areas,so should th e corresponding solutions be representative as well. |
