The Study On Community Building Strategy From The Perspective Of Actor-network Theory

As for the community building of Dashilar area in Beijing,it was initiated by social organizations,which mainly includes Dashilar Project,Dashilar Pilot,Beijing Design Week “Dashilar Design Community” and Yangmeizhuxie Street Protection Project.In terms of the process,it includes social space restoration,design activism intervention,public participation,urban context continuation and cultural industry innovation.Besides,most of the action events involved occur in the process of urban renewal in Dashilar area.More importantly,the corresponding practice results promote the material space renewal and social space reproduction in a certain sense,which is of great architectural and sociological research value.In this paper,it takes the event of community building in Dashilar area since 2011 as the research object,in which the case analysis framework is constructed by using the research methods of interdisciplinary research,field investigation,literature,and case analysis on the basis of Actor-Network Theory and operation tool.At the same time,it starts from the “socio-spatial” perspective to analyze the social repair events with the nature of spatial agency in this case from the aspects of relevant actors,design action practice,social space change,action effect,etc.After that,it analyzes and summarizes the logic of space reconstruction and community building strategies behind the event,which also extracts the system logic behind the case,and re-examines the proposition of “community building”,so as to provide effective innovative design ideas for promoting the renewal of the capital city.
