Research On Modern Adaptability Of Traditional Theatrical Space In The Bashu Area

Traditional theatrical space is one of the common space types in the Bashu area and the material carrier of traditional opera performance,its development and evolution reflect the living conditions of people in this area veritably,and through this we could know various aspects of information: development of society,prosperity of economy,advancement of technology,enrichment of spiritual culture and so on.Therefore,the theatrical space in the Bashu area is the material cultural heritage that we should treasure.In the meanwhile,the traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area has become the important public space because of its value in use,it creates communicative and recreational place for the public and shows the vitality and cohesiveness of space.However,with developing of modern society and declining of traditional opera,the development of traditional theatrical space is also declining,in this situation,it's necessary to make a research on modern adaptability of traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area.This thesis takes the traditional theatrical space of Bashu area as the research object,through analyzing and concluding the type and form,overall layout and site selection characteristics of the traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area,this thesis further analyzes the development of the traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area and elements that influences its development.Based on these,analyzing the problems and challenges occurring in its process of development and bringing out suggestions on how to adapt to the needs of the modern society,moreover,raising concrete design strategies and ideas combined with the space development of city,which make the traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area adapt to the modern society and satisfy the material and spiritual needs of the citizens,it will develop with fresh impetus and serve the present.This study will find a regeneration method for the traditional theatrical space in the Bashu area.
