Since ancient times, urban and architectural spaces have emerged to meet the needs of humanity, and changes in human needs will promote the evolution and development of cities and buildings.Since the middle and late 20 th century, with the limitations of functionalism, the consciousness of "human" has gradually become prominent, reflecting the increasing demand for interaction and interaction between people, and the activities of people in social space have been diversified.Trends, the architect's focus has shifted from a function-led space organization to a place that fits people's daily activities. It is followed by a theater-like venue with theater space features and attributes that is located in the public spaces of cities and buildings, and is compatible with the pan-drama activities in human daily life. This paper mainly analyzes and summarizes the formation and evolution of this phenomenon,in order to provide theoretical support and method guidance for the practice of theaters in the subsequent urban and architectural public spaces. The evolution and development of the theatrical venues are mainly influenced by two aspects: on the one hand,in the field of theatrical art, with the formation of a wide range of theatrical and dramatic space concepts, the drama-like activities in human daily life are concerned, theatrical art It has expanded into the daily life of human beings and began to integrate with social space. On the other hand,it is reflected in the construction field's concern for people and their activities in space, the transformation of people's spatial awareness and the need for communication and interaction. The increase has promoted the formation of relevant theories in the field of architecture, and the focus of architectural practice has also shifted to the creation of places. The theater-like places are widely found in the public spaces of cities and buildings. It is precisely the architectural disciplines that take into account the two trends of human drama in daily drama and the daily activities of drama activities, and subconsciously use the practical achievements of theater elements to create places. The main body of this paper can be divided into three parts: theoretical analysis, concept interpretation and design strategy summary.First of all, from the perspectives of architecture, drama, human sociology, behavioral psychology and other disciplines,we seek theoretical support for this social phenomenon. In the second place,we combine the space production and place theory to explain the theater scene;By sorting out actual cases,it sorts out and summarizes the development and evolution of the theaters in modern cities and buildings, and summarizes the design strategies of the theaters.
