With the diversified development of modern architectural design in the world,the architectural style is no longer the focus of the creative debate.In the design,the factors such as respect for history,environment,regional culture and local characteristics are respected,it has become the guiding ideology of modern architectural creation.The creation of regional architecture has rich connotations and diversified forms,which is from the different cultural,historical and geographical characteristics of different regions and the architect's understanding depth of the regional characteristic and understanding angle.Chinese traditional architecture has accumulated profound culture in the long years,produced rich forms to adapt to different regional cultures,how to inherit and carry forward the characteristics of Chinese culture and traditional regional architecture.To endow the tradition with the vitality of a new era is a problem that needs to be constantly discussed,practiced and pondered in modern and contemporary architectural creation.Based on the historical background of the original academy and combined with the development of the urban landscape demand and the development of cultural tourism industry,the Baiyan Academy of Wanzhou in Chongqing carried out the reconstruction of the nature of non-cultural relics in Wanzhou Baiyan Park.The purpose is to arouse people's collective memory of historical culture and college architectural culture through the expression of the traditional spirit and regional culture of this kind of architecture.In the process of reshaping the style and features of traditional architecture with modern architectural technology,to solve the contradiction between modern architecture and tradition,and the characteristics of architecture can be reflected on the basis of inheriting history and culture.This article is based on the above situation,the design process and methods of the exploration.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part gives a brief overview of the ancient education and educational architecture and the architecture of the Bashu Academy.The second part analyzes the education and the development of the Academy in Bashu area.It briefly combs the historical evolution and classification of Bashu Academy,and explains the existing situation of Bashu Academy of Classical Learning.The third part mainly through the field investigation and the local chronicles research emphases carries on the analysis to the Bashu academy building location characteristic,the layout characteristic,the style characteristic,summarizes the Bashu academy's building historical and cultural background.The space,function,decoration and other characteristics of the academy architecture are summarized to provide the basis for the creation of the same type of regional architecture;The 4th part analyzes the creative process of the concrete project of Baiyan Academy,and expounds the guiding ideology of the architectural design of the Academy.In the specific environment,the location,the layout of the choice,the functional organization of the way,the shape of space,regional features of the expression of a detailed analysis.And then discusses why we should do the revival design of the traditional architecture,taking Baiyan Academy as an example to elaborates on the characteristics of the traditional architectural style and features and the technical operation used in the modern architectural creation is elaborated,through the combination of historical culture and modern architectural technology.It reproduces the figure of regional cultural architecture,summarize the design techniques for the future of similar traditional architecture to provide ideas for the revival of design.
