With the development of society,the cause of early childhood education has been widely concerned by the society.The advancement of early childhood education has led to the increasing importance on external activities which are closely related to the growth of children.The external activity space of kindergarten are a place to act freely and improve their ability of innovation.It's an important space which contribute to the development of physical and mental health.As one of the conditions affecting human activities,climate conditions also have a great impact on the external activity space of current domestic kindergarten,the reasons for affecting children's activities and the quality of spaces are studied,but mostly from the their own needs,educational concepts and so on,and rarely from the point of climate view to explore its impact on the external activity space and solutions adapted to the special climate.The particularity of climatic conditions in Canton not only affects the characteristics of children,but also influences the design and use of the external activities of kindergartens from the aspects of spatial distribution,spatial form and spatial interface and facilities.In this paper,this paper attempts to explore the design principles and methods of kindergarten external activity space based on climatic conditions in Canton Province through the relevant theory and case study,and form a new design method and optimization of the external activities of kindergarten in the influence of climate Design strategy for the kindergarten external activity space design to provide a new entry point and theoretical reference.The article mainly contains four parts,six chapters: the first part of the question,introduces the background,meaning and object of study,scope and summarize the relevant literature overview adapting to the two aspects of the kindergarten external space research and the climate conditions;In the second and third chapters,the spatial activity of kindergarten outside the Canton area is classified into several parts.Based on the case study of the field investigation,the paper studies the different types of space in the overall distribution,spatial form,spatial interface and facility configuration The fourth chapter summarizes the general distribution,spatial form,spatial interface and facility configuration of the external activitiesspace of kindergarten under strong sunshine,hot and humid climate and extreme weather conditions.The third part solves the problem.In chapter 5,In the process of research and analysis,four principles of solving the problem are put forward: the rationality of spatial distribution principle,the principle of scale construction,the principle of diversification of interface design and the principle of sustainable use of facilities,and the design method corresponding to the design principle.Practice,in the sixth chapter with the author involved The practice of the project-Dongguan Nancheng first kindergarten design project,will study the design principles and methods used in the practice of the project,the use of theoretical guidance practice,leading the whole process of project design,summed up more Value theory in practice,the initial formation of design principles and methods based on Canton climatic conditions of kindergarten external activity space contributes to further research and provide the basis for future study.
