| With the development of quality education,early childhood education has begun to change from pursuing higher intellectual education to sensory education that follows the laws of children’s growth.Sensory integration ability is one of the basic abilities of individual survival and development,as the ability to control all kinds of sensory perception in a unified way.The cultivation of sensory integration ability is also a part of sensory education.As an important place for the development of early childhood education,kindergarten is also the key to the development of children’s senses and perceptions.The role of activity space in the development of children’s abilities is particularly important.The construction of kindergartens has received great attention,but it lacks systematicness and pertinence in cultivating children’s sensory integration ability.At present,there are many related researches on the development of children’s sensory integration ability in pedagogy.There is a lack of research on the development of sensory integration abilities.Therefore,on the one hand,this research explores the relationship and convergence between sensory integration theory and kindergarten activity space design by inductive analysis of sensory integration theory and related concepts,combined with the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development;Based on sensory integration theory,it proposes a design method for kindergarten activity space that can promote the overall physical and mental development of children.Starting from a new perspective,this research focuses on the overall development of young children.Based on sensory integration theory,it analyzes its concept and the development and status of children’s sensory integration ability,and puts forward the existing problems through investigation and analysis.Secondly,analyze the relationship between children’s behavioral characteristics and activity space from the aspects of children’s physical and mental characteristics,perception characteristics and perception forms,and then analyze the space needs of sensory integration training and children’s activities to find their common points,and combine relevant Case analysis and summary.Then,according to the research content,put forward the design principles and methods of kindergarten activity space under the guidance of sensory integration theory.Finally,through the design orientation,conception and development process,this research is practiced and summarized with the design of the kindergarten design.Research has proved that the development of sensory integration ability requires space as a carrier.As one of the main development places for preschool children,kindergarten has a fit in the design requirements of its activity space and the space requirements of children’s sensory integration training in terms of children’s sensory experience.According to the design principles,the design methods such as smooth space movement,concise materials and design elements,and adding gray space to blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor are proposed,and applied to the design practice of kindergarten activity space,so that the kindergarten activity space can improve the development of sensory integration ability.Young children have a positive impact,which complements the application of sensory integration theory in kindergarten space and provides a reference for kindergarten design. |
