Study On The Inheritance And Renewal Of New Residential Design In Zhejiang Rural Areas

The great changes of society have brought great influences to the development of the countryside. The traditional settlements and traditional houses have been unable to fully meet the needs of modern life, showing a part that is not suited, which has led to the construction of new rural houses. But the current situation has plunged the country into chaos and urbanization. In view of the above problems, this paper clarifies the necessity of the inheritance and renewal in the design of rural new houses,and takes the new houses in Zhejiang as the research object, and explores how to inherit and update from the two aspects of settlement and monomer.On the one hand, by analyzing the fine characteristics of traditional settlements and houses, we can find out how to inherit the traditional fine traits of the new houses,so as to enhance the autonomy of the villages in the modern development, and to protect and extend the rural areas. On the other hand is based on the villagers’ living habits and modern living needs of the full investigation, summed up the traditional settlements and traditional dwellings exist in the backward areas, targeted to carry out its update strategy research, to create a living space in line with modern life and solve the practical problems of the villagers housing, so that the village rejuvenated.Finally, the inheritance and renewal strategy of the new residential design in the countryside will be used to guide the practice of rural new houses in Tongxi Village,Tonglu County, and to verify the feasibility of the new residential heritage and renewal strategy,hoping to provide a new residential design for the future.
