Rural color landscape is one of the elements that reflect the characteristics of rural areas and it is a new field to be explored carefully in the process of landscape planning of urban colors. The unique rural color landscape coming from rural history and culture, can highlight the local customs and comprehensively promote of overall rural image so as to create a countryside image which has extreme tension and easy to identify and understand by the local people with the sense of "let the residents see mountain and water with nostalgia always in their mind" being expressed. All in all, the exploration of how to correctly use and exert the effectiveness of the color landscape planning to build a livable color space and make it become an important historical culture and color vector of aesthetic information plays a great role in the construction of "nostalgia urbanization". The paper is divided into the following three levels:One. The research background, related concepts, basic theory, domestic and foreign research and research ideas and methods of landscape planning of rural colors are elaborated. Careful analysis of the domestic and foreign outstanding rural color landscape cases is carried out with new ideas of rural color landscape planning being explored. The accelerated development of urbanization and the contradiction between urban and rural areas have become increasingly prominent, which brings a lot of negative effects on rural color landscape. The present situation and the existing problems of rural color landscape planning are especially analyzed.Two. The research content of china rural color landscape is described and a feasible method for rural landscape planning is put forward. The phenomenon of "thousand villages are the same" in the process of upgrading the rural landscape of china is analyzed so as to reveal the reasons why the rural landscape planning should be more concentrated.The feasible methods and principles of the evaluation of color landscape planning in rural areas of china are extracted form the perspective of color landscape.Three, Demonstration analysis of the case-Matoutan village in East West Lake District, Wuhan, Hubei Province is carried out by adopting color landscape integration theory. What is more, by combining the characteristics of local color landscape, rural area color landscape planning strategies are discussed respectively from the primary and secondary aspects(macro), bright, dark and gray level(intermediate),point, spot, line and surface level(micro) so as to further analyze the feasibility of color landscape planning theory in practice.
