Research On Inheritance And Renewal Of Hangzhou Phoenix Mountain Road District Landscape

Considering Hangzhou Phoenix Mountain Road District landscape for example, cultural landscape as a starting point, the thesis shows the exploratory design and research on the inheritance and renewal of the place, using literature summary, real investigation and case demonstration, with the theory of Cultural Ecology, Organic Renewal and Place-making.The dissertation research is divided into three parts: First part- putting forward the question, at first, grasping the basic knowledge of the current social and cultural landscape development, people’s demand on culture, and current situation of Chinese cultural landscape, and combine related research results domestic and overseas so that putting forward the main research content of this dissertation, setting up research framework. Second part- analyzing questions, starting with cultural landscape and the theoretical basis of inheritance and updates, analyzing cultural ecology theory, the relationship between organic renewal theory and cultural landscape design and theory of place-making, and take Hangzhou Phoenix Mountain Road district landscape as an example, analyzing the current situation summary, the component factors of cultural landscape and building of landscape places so that analyze the main content of the neighborhood renewal design of landscape heritage, and sums up the design, location, design principles and values. Third part-solving problems; based on the analysis above, setting up the specific methods of landscape heritage and updated design about Phoenix Mountain Road district landscape, dividing design into three levels to be further investigated: situated place, axis emotions and sentiments, so that making the Phoenix Mountain Foot district landscape is more in line with the need of the time, enhancing the image of city, while providing residents with comfortable and convenient living environment.For the sake of some practical significance to society, the author spurned most historic district protection renewal routines leading to commercialization in the process of research, trying to avoid the over-exploitation of historic district landscape, build an orderly and connotative sight space in the light of local conditions and organically combine it with the development of Hangzhou.
