| Walking is the most common way to travel for urban residents,as well as a low-carbon way of life,which has obvious ecological,social,economic and health benefits.It plays an important role in the life of different genders,ages and income levels.At the same time,energy crisis,environmental problems and health of residents are major issues in the current society.In Europe and the United States and other developed countries,the way of private cars which was the core way to travel has gradually changed.It’s too difficult for the current energy reserves and environment conditions to bear the pressure on the travel of vehicles,but walking are of great benefit on the energy,the environment and the physical and mental health of the residents.Therefore,the vigorous development of walking is the inevitable choice for the future development of cities in our country.On the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes the walkability of Wuhan City by establishing the walkability evaluation model based on daily service facilities,and introducing the walking distance and the road connectivity as corrective factors.Besides,taking the community as the unit of research to do some extended analysis.Specifically,the analysis work and research conclusions of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)combing the current situation of domestic and foreign research from the angle of methodology,and put forward the shortcomings of the current domestic research,the establishment of walkability evaluation model based on daily service facilities.(2)Based on the walkability of Wuhan City,this paper describes and analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics of daily service facilities,and assesses of the walkability of Wuhan City,according to the established walkability evaluation model,then analyzes the characteristics of the walkability,and verifies the model based on the registed data of weibo to judge whether the model can reflect the residents’ walking situation.(3)Analyzing the various types of daily facilities from the global and the loop,to explore walkability of different types of facilities,finding the difference between various facilities’and comprehensive walkability,clearing types of facilities which are low-walkability,and making some suggest based on characteristics of types of facilities,(4)Making community as the unit of study,to analyze the relations of community of Wuhan City with socio-economic,environmental justice and the elderly population.Then,according to different phenomena to explain the reasons,and put forward feasible suggestions. |
