Research On The Accessibility Of Daily Service Facilities Of Residents Based On Walk Score

In the context of the rapid increase in the number of motor vehicles,meeting the needs of people for convenient,comfortable and safe walking has become one of the key goals of urban construction.Especially in recent years,the popularity of national fitness and the promotion of environmental protection awareness have made walking and cycling more As more and more urban residents travel,walkability has become an important criterion reflecting urban vitality and residents' low-carbon travel efficiency.The walkability measurement method used by some foreign cities provides a standard for measuring the walkability of a city,and related research on the walk score in China has just begun.This paper attempts to apply this method to Xiamen City with the help of big data and ArcGIS10.5 software platform and discusses its application strategy.Due to the difference between the actual situation of foreign cities and Xiamen City,in the application process,according to the existing relevant norms and standards and residents' travel habits,etc.,according to existing related research,the original walk score measurement method was optimized and adjusted,and The accuracy of the measurement results was verified through field survey sampling studies.First of all,according to the urban functional zoning and urban structure,it is considered that the Xiamen Island,which almost carries Xiamen's downtown area,is more meaningful as a research object;Secondly,based on the relevant regulations and standards for the classification of facilities in China,adjust the weighting table of residents' daily living service facilities based on the residents' travel habits and combine existing research results,and adjust the walking attenuation rate according to residents' walking travel habits;Finally,quantitatively evaluate the impact of the differences in walking environment on the walk score.At the same time,based on the differences in research scales,a method for selecting the starting point for walking and an improvement method for data visualization methods are proposed.After adjusting the walk score measurement method,based on the walk score measurement principle and using the ArcGIS 10.5 software platform to process and calculate the basic data,the basic walk score for each starting point are obtained,and Xiamen Island and the streets are implemented by different methods Visual representation ofwalking accessibility measures at different levels.Based on the measurement results,the walkability of different levels of Xiamen Island is analyzed and interpreted.Based on a sample survey on Xiamen Island,the information reflected by the measurement results is compared with the actual walking conditions of residents,and the accuracy of the walk score measurement results is evaluated.Based on the measurement and verification results,this article analyzes and summarizes the application ideas and inspirations of the walk score in the process of urban construction in China,and proposes the next research directions.
