Many large cities in Europe and the United States have experienced the process of disorderly urban sprawl and development with car-oriented,single land use and low-density development and construction,resulting in over-dependence on automobiles,lack of neighborhood relations,decline of urban centers and other issues.In the subsequent renewal of urban vitality,it is recognized that the mixed and high-density development of land use patterns and pedestrian-oriented traffic patterns is the guarantee.The source of city vitality.At present,China is still in the period of rapid construction.Most of the road construction in mega cities meet the fast-moving behavior of motor vehicles,severely squeezing urban pedestrian space,and thus affecting urban public life and public activities.In recent years,the speedy advance of metro rail transit has increased the population size of non-motorized travel.If there is good walkability around the railway station,it will help to improve the quality of urban public life,enhance the vitality of the city and promote the harmonious development of the city.Therefore,this paper takes the walkability of the area around the track station as the research object,builds a walkability measurement model based on the walking index,and uses this model to measure and evaluate the walkability of the track station area in Shenzhen,and compares and analyses the differences of the walkability of different districts,streets and different types of track station areas in Shenzhen.On this basis,the paper analyses and discusses the effects of pedestrianism on social interaction,residents' travel needs and other aspects,and the correlation between pedestrianism and the factors of the built environment.The results show that the overall walkability of Shenzhen rail station area is relatively general,and there are great differences among different areas.At present,Futian District has the best walkability,while Longgang District has obvious shortcomings.By comparing the walkability of the rail station area in each street,it is found that there are similar changes in the walkability and development intensity,population density and road network density.The difference of walkability between residential and mixed types of rail stations is also obvious.The walkability of residential and mixed types of rail stations is relatively high,and their daily average passenger flow and construction and development intensity are relatively high.It is also found that the higher walkability of rail stations also shows higher social interaction,travel demand,space vitality and other social benefits.At the same time,through the analysis of the correlation between pedestrianism and the factors of built environment,it is concluded that the density of road network,the green space rate,the total amount of construction and the total amount of housing are the main factors affecting the pedestrianism in the track station area.
