Analysis Of The Uncertainty In The Design Of Chinese Domestic

Briefly,uncertainty refers to a state of a variety of possible,complex and uncertain.We now live in a rapid changing information age,everything is becoming more and more shorter.Throughout the development and changes in contemporary architectural thought,from the beginning of the post-modern,we can find Venturi’s"fuzzy",Jenks’s "double coding","growth,renewal and decline" of metabolism school,and "anti-authority,relative,no center" of deconstruction.Avant-garde architects such as Toyo Ito’s "wind" and "light",Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa’s "white,light,transparent,ultra-thin" and so on.Uncertainty is the most appropriate word to describe as the central word of genres and avant-garde architects.Compared with the scene of all flowers bloom together of abroad theories,there are only a few in domestic relevant theoretical works.Based on this background,combining with contemporary creative practice of local architects,and trying to establish a more systematic theoretical framework of local design in uncertainties,which is the purpose of this study.This article summarizes and analyses a large number of local real cases of domestic contemporary architects through the research methods of field trips,reading literature,theory combing and so on.Besides,this article also sums up and classifies their works in uncertainty from four aspects of function,form,method and process.The uncertainty of function is reflected in the plane,space and flow lines.The uncertainty of form is reflected in the building skin,structure and form.The uncertainty of method is reflected in the anti-method and parametric(digital,non-linear)design.The uncertainty of process is reflected in the design process and construction process.Forming a relatively complete theoretical structure is the result of this study.Through research,we draw the following conclusions:1.The uncertainty of function is more reflected in the satisfaction of basic needs and desires based on human psychology and life level,rather than the abstract unity of functional experience from the past.2.The uncertainty of form is more reflected in the visual and construct levels,showing an anti-gravitational instability and light blur visual sense,rather than a clear sense of legalistic stability strictly by the book,pursuing the crafts exhibit natural form,rather than the previous mechanical tight geometry.3.The Uncertainty of method and process is more reflected in the design process of trial and error.First excluding the outset to determine the concept,then reaching a certain stage to know how to respond,rather than in the past determining the optimal solution first,then deepening the optimal solution model.But all of this uncertainty are controllable,rather than a bunch of sleepwalk maze.In recent years,a number of cutting-edge architects has made considerable progress in uncertain exploration,especially Wang Shu,who won the 2012 Pritzker Architecture Prize.It is a tremendous encouragement for local architects.This paper will bring a certain reference value to domestic experimental design practice in uncertainly of local design.
