A Study On Chinese Rural Construction Practice By Contemporary Architects

The Rural social development problems are becoming increasingly acute in the traditional urbanization development model. Large-scale development and construction mode made traditional elements,such as the settlements cultural landscape,vernacular architecture and agrarian age, lose the basis of development constantly.At the same time, with the the existing landscape,The new urbanization construction put forward the concept of respect for nature, conforming to nature,and syncretism between heaven and man, and put the city into the nature, make residents feel the nature landscape and remember their homesickness.Architects solve the rural construction problems with the method of rural construction activities in micro ways. This paper combines and links several practical cases to form the common practice approach.This paper summarize the contemporary individual consciousness and diversification strategy method of rural community construction practice, and turn them into referential experience.This article is divided into four sections.The first chapter "Exordium" briefly expounds the background and purpose and meaning of the thesis. Followed by this paper, it determines the concept of the object and the research contents. Then it introduces the current situation of studies in domestic rural construction and related fields. At last it proposes the methods and framework of the research.The second chapter "the understanding of the contemporary architects rural practice in Chinese rural construction phenomenon" mainly does research on the practical features from different aspects such as the characteristics of architects, regional distribution, building type and so on.The third chapter "summary of the contemporary architects rural practice in Chinese rural construction experience" mainly does research on practice strategies and methods. It summarizes the experience from the sustainable systematic strategy, the public participation strategy, the pluralistic design methods, appropriate building technology.The fourth chapter "the rethink of the contemporary architects rural practice in Chinese rural construction" intends to find the problems and significances to rural construction in china. Then it reconsiders the current career situation of chinese contemporary architect.
