Research On Quality Management Of GM EPP Development Project In W Company

Project Quality Management is the combination of project management and quality management.They interact and complement each other with the result being a high level of project management and quality management that are indispensable determinants for a successful project.The quality management objective of project quality management is two-fold;project process and project product.Management at all levels will have an effect on the project organization and the company’s future development.As the auto industry becomes more global,technology and resource competition,technology continues to improve,product life cycles in the automotive industry continue to shorten.All theses made the company pay more and more attention on project quality management.This paper chose W company’s GM EPP development project for this research,to manage the quality of this project with applying relevant theory and quality tools.During the overview stage of the project background,by using the Cause and Effect Diagrams to analyze the factors that influence the project quality management,and define the quality goals of this GM EPP development project.In project planning stage,made the project development management process of new product(GDPIM)with putting Auto industry development process(APQP)and company system requirement.As stated stages to review the complement state and risk profile of project task in current stage,so that indentify and control risk at earlier stage of project.Analyzing the issues and influencing factors which occurred in GM EPP development project quality management process with Cause and Effect diagram and SPC management tool,then making corresponding actions In project assurance and control stage.Also has introduced the research on supplier quality management in each stage of project to extend the effectiveness of GM EPP development project quality management to sub-supplier.This paper chose project quality management as research subject,by using project quality management methods and tools to manage and control GM EPP development project quality.Through this topic,with applying project quality planning,assuring and controlling management process mode to provide theory basis for GM EPP development project,find the key factors and confirm the improving scheme,and finally made this project success and customer satisfying.
