| With the manufacturing development in our country,most of manufacturing companies generally focus on the quality control and continuous improvement in the mass production phase,but it is insufficient for the quality control and continuous improvement in the stage of new product development and pilot production.Therefore,many of design changes and quality defects will be happened during new product development,which lead to the following results: high manufacturing cost and long lead time for new product development.As a exclusively foreign-owned enterprise,quality is most important on X company,If the quality of product development stage and pilot production is not well controlled,it will be terrible for customer satisfaction,it will affect the sales performance and the profit of X company in the following many years.This thesis is mainly studying new product development process of X company and quality control and improvement on pilot production phase.This thesis integrates actual new development process and pilot production phase.It also analyzes existing problems during new product development.Finally,the thesis provides solution for problems that happen in the product development of XP series new product.Based on the theory of quality management and new product development process,this thesis deeply analyzes the root cause of existing problems.New product development process is improved by QG(Quality Gate)and APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning).At the same time,PPAP(Production Part Approval Process)is used to control the quality of new product development of parts and production line of new product and continuous improvement for new product development.This thesis provides a solution for optimizing the process of new product development and improving new product quality control on pilot production phase.It ensures new product development can be completed on time and improves product quality performance on pilot production phase.Finally,It also strongly supports X company to be more successful in product development of new product and improves competitive power of new product in global market. |
