The Elderly-Oriented Study On The Design Of Guangzhou Residential Roadside Green Space Under The Background Of Aging

Since the 21 st century,the trend of the aging of the world's population has become more pronounced,and the aging of China's population has become increasingly prominent.However,the construction of urban green space systems in China has not yet adapted to the changes in the aging of the population and made corresponding changes.The vast majority of greenery on the street is merely a green stitch,and public service facilities for the elderly are very limited.There are many unreasonable factors in some public facilities,which reduces the enthusiasm of the elderly for outdoor activities.Therefore,it is of practical significance to carry out research on the appropriate ageing of green space along the streets of urban communities.This paper selects the community street green space with high usage rate of elderly people as the research object,and takes the survey area of Liwan District,Yuexiu District,Haizhu District and Baiyun District with a large number of elderly people and a relatively large proportion in Guangzhou as the research scope.The status quo of green space beside the community streets in the area,in which the most representative green streets along the streets of the community are thoroughly investigated,and questionnaires and interviews as well as activity records and behavior observation methods are used to understand the needs of the elderly and explore the green space.The relationship between the landscape elements in the interior and the activities of the elderly is analyzed,and the problem of appropriate ageing of the landscape elements in the green space is analyzed.Finally,based on the theory of environmental behavior,post-use evaluation,ergonomics,and other issues,this paper attempts to put forward the optimization strategy of appropriate greening of green space along the streets in response to the existing problems in the green areas along the street.(1)The use of unreasonable space as a construction land for greenery along urban streets,enhanced transportation links between green areas or between green spaces and parks,and the inclusion of small parks in urban planning,will form a network of greenland network system plans.(2)The appropriate ageing design for entrance space should focus on three aspects:accessibility,comfort and easy identification.(3)Appropriate aging design of the sitting facilities should consider safety,comfort,and promoting conversation;the appropriate ageing design of road facilities should focus on the width of the walking path,the choice of floor materials,the recognizability of theturning point of the park road,and the height of the ground.There are four aspects of poor change;proper ageing of fitness and entertainment facilities should be considered from three aspects: ensuring accessibility,increasing interest,more moderate activity facilities,and providing a platform for more elderly people to learn.(4)Appropriate aging of night lighting facilities should take into account the level of light illumination,the avoidance of glare,and the grading of illumination.The ageing of public facilities mainly emphasizes the quantity and distribution of trash cans and toilets.(5)Aging greening space should pay attention to grasping the proportions of evergreen and deciduous tree species,selecting healing plants,enriching plant species,and creating green spaces with different environmental atmospheres.(6)The ageing of space construction should pay attention to the three aspects of improving the diversity of space design,grasping the space scale,and adopting the “sub-division” approach to space separation.
