| According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics,by 2021,the elderly aged 65 and above will account for 14.2% of the total population.At present,90% of the elderly in China are living at home,and more than two-thirds of them live in old houses.In the Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Implementation of the Elderly Home based Aging Reconstruction Project jointly issued by the ministries and commissions on July 9,2020,it is mentioned that the implementation of the elderly home based aging reconstruction should adhere to the demand orientation and pay attention to the most urgent needs of the elderly.Therefore,in the process of home aging transformation,it is necessary to fully grasp the behavior characteristics and use needs of different types of elderly people,develop a transformation plan that matches them,reduce the risk of accidents at home for the elderly,and provide environmental support for their independent life.In this paper,the elderly with different health conditions are taken as the research object.Through the combination of observation,investigation and interview,the use of living space for the elderly is investigated.The contents include the current situation of the space in the suite,the physical condition of the elderly,the elderly’s daily life behaviors such as washing,toilet,bathing,eating,and the current situation and corresponding places of housework,leisure activities,fitness activities,and the production of the living map of the space in the suite that changes with the time axis.Based on the obstacles of the elderly’s home life behavior and the required environmental support,the transformation needs of each functional space are clarified.On this basis,it analyzes the commonness and differences of the needs of the elderly in different health stages and different levels of disability for the transformation of housing space;Then,the corresponding transformation strategy and transformation design scheme are formed with the goal of safe and convenient self-supporting life support.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter focuses on the problems and challenges faced by the current situation of elderly care at home in China.From the perspective of different physical conditions and disability levels of elderly people,their living behavior and movement barriers,as well as their spatial environmental support needs,and attention to the differences in residential spatial scales in different eras,various research methods are used as means to construct the technical route of the paper.Chapter 2 takes Beijing as an example to sort out the development and evolution of urban residential spaces in China from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to 2000,including sleeping,dining,living,bathroom,and kitchen spaces.It analyzes the impact of their area and layout on the renovation.Have a preliminary understanding of the renovation needs of elderly people for various functional spaces within the set;Chapter 3 is a study on the design of bathroom aging adaptation renovation.It analyzes the behavioral difficulties and renovation needs of elderly people with different physical conditions in the toilet area,toileting area,and bathing area.In response to the current problems of old residential toilets,renovation design methods are proposed in terms of removing ground height differences,installing handrails in different areas,and increasing storage space;Chapter 4 is a study on the design of kitchen aging adaptation renovation,analyzing the behavioral difficulties and renovation needs of elderly people cooking in the kitchen,and proposing methods for renovation design;Chapter 5 is a study on the design of aging friendly renovation for sleeping,dining,and living spaces.Based on the range of activities and usage of elderly people in residential areas with different physical conditions,clarify their renovation needs and priorities,and then propose corresponding renovation design suggestions.Finally,it is the conclusion.Based on the similarities and differences in the needs of elderly people for functional space renovation according to different physical conditions,clarify the key points of renovation,and propose targeted renovation design suggestions. |
