The Development Of Digital Construction Project Simulation Platform

Digital Construction Project is based on the technology of visualized simulation and often used for the demonstration of construction projects; it can also assist the design of a project. Nowadays, because of the complexity of construction field is rising, it is difficult to make evaluations for a project which is under construction. How to make general analysis for the project under construction become a significant research project, and also a demanding question for the technology of Digital Construction Project.A general-used simulation platform for digital construction projects based on the construction project of Northwest area ATC center is designed in this paper. The following are the author's main work:Firstly, the technology and theory of digital construction project is discussed, and the request of the research project is analyzed. Then, the simulation platform based on the need of construction project was developed, a virtual reality scene can be created in this platform, and the objects interactively control kits are designed. At last, the 3D models of the Northwest area ATC center were imported into the platform as an example. The performance analysis and system optimization was also made in this part.With the work above, the digital construction project simulation platform based on Northwest area ATC center is developed. This platform has made a stable foundation for the project management and maintenance work.
