At present,China’s economy is under the new normal,as one of the pillar industries of the national economy,the construction industry also needs to focus on industrial transformation and upgrading.During the construction stage,the design results are transformed into solid structures,which have a great influence on the formation and quality of the buildings.Under the trend of informationizing and technological innovating,the traditional construction and management methods have been difficult to adapt to the needs of modern complex building structure and information management.At present,there are some problems in the construction stage,such as the communication of construction information is unclear,technical and management level can not keep up with modern construction needs,the allocation of resources is unreasonable and there are a lot waste of resources.As a digital information model,BIM is not only a new technology,but also a new architectural concept,which contains many valuable architectural information.And it can be shared and transmitted in the whole life cycle of buildings.Because of the characteristics of visualization,coordination,simulation and mapping of BIM,it is of great value to study the application of BIM in construction stage.This paper analyzes the development status of BIM in China and summarizes the achievements of the application of BIM in the construction stage.Taking Nanshan project as an example to explore the application of BIM construction model.Main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)First,the concept of BIM real-time construction model is expounded,and the method of creating real-time model is introduced.Taking the project of China Railway Nanshan academy as an example,a 4D model is built to simulate the construction and demonstrate the dynamic construction process.(2)Taking the reinforcement of frame column as an example,using Revit software to establish a parametric model and using the detailed list to calculate the usage amount of steel accurately and rapidly.By this way,constructor deepened the understanding of the design intention of the construction personnel,and mastered the construction information deeply.(3)Using the visual characteristics of the BIM to build a 3D model of some complex structure,such as the flower beds and Shear wall formwork support,to guide the construction.(4)Reading mechanical and electrical,drainage,structural and other design drawings,then using Revit to build these models.Using Navisworks to integrate and analyze collision of several specialized models.Modifying the design and optimizing the piping layout based on the results of the collision.Counting the figures of the decreased materials,and calculating the time and investment saved by using BIM in combination with bill of quantities quota.It is proved by actual data that BIM has a lot benefit to the project.Summarizing the experience of the application of BIM in Nanshan project,we can draw a conclusion of the application of BIM technology in construction stage.And it also has obvious practical value and great significance to the promote the application of BIM technology.
